Just watched this wonderful production again. The film footage and editing is wonderful and the musical accompaniment is astounding. Why hasn't this been viewed and appreciated SO MUCH MORE?
Back again to say what this little piece of footage means to me. Gloriously calming. Wonderfully evocative of this rather drab landscape I live in but making the most of all the the historic influence this region has had on these great British isles. Be proud Kris. This footage WILL be cherished in the MUCH broader heritage of our historical landscape. See you again next year. Mike
Back again to comment on this beautiful collaboration of film, editing and sound accompaniment. Great that you have gotten 3000 views. Pity it hasn't garnered ten times as much. It REALLY DOES merit SO much more. MJK
I am drawn back to this wonderful little gem of a production - time and time again! SO relaxing, so lovely to view and hear such wonderful accompanying music! Why, WHY hasn't this been viewed and appreciated SO many more times than it has? It beggars belief. Perhaps, to be subtle, it's because Goole is now such a 'backwater' place: a nondescript location. And perhaps you might look to promoting this wonderful production on 'another level' - as a creative piece of film and music production far beyond reaches of this 'backwater' place you have chosen to make this piece of your art? Just a suggestion Kris. You really need to look at all your 'tags' on CZcams: Bump up all the possible nuances, the associations you can possibly come up with in promoting this lovely video. It DESERVES it! All the best. An appreciative viewer from early doors.
Absolutely mesmerising piece of footage with a STUNNINGLY composed soundtrack! You MUST get this publicised as far and as wide as you can on the internet because it deserves FAR more many views than it currently has had! As a retired professional in the publicity and film industry this is a little gem! As to the comment about a 'Pink Floyd' influence, to me it is far more reminiscent of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straights. Either way, Ian and Terry have done a wonderful job with their composition for the soundtrack. Brilliant. I've watched it many times and is firmly placed as one of my favourites on CZcams. I have recommended it to many and will continue to do so. Michael James Kerrigan.
michaeljameskerrigan Thank you for the great comments Michael. The number of views is a bit disappointing but we only did it for pleasure. Musical influences wise I reckon you've hit the nail on the head. Regards Kris.
Message from Michael James Kerrigan. Don't be downhearted Mister filmmaker! The drone shots and wonderful panoramas you have achieved, the editing and the inclusion of such 'soul searching' music are far more superior to your earlier attempts - yes, I have visited your website. The result is a combination of SO MUCH MORE you can accomplish. Keep on trucking Kris! As a retired and nearly seventy year old guy who knows what he is talking about in the film and publicity industry - and despite your very honest admission that you are 'just learning how to edit' your creations - just keep on doing what you do. As to your musical friends; they also need to spread their wings as their contribution - without deterring from your camera skills - was undoubtedly a huge contribution to the final product. Hang on to these guys Kris. They could be a very important contribution to your combined success. I really hope this is the case. If you would like some more considered advice, I would be delighted to offer it for you in the hope you will find the success you ALL deserve in the future. Best regards, Michael James Kerrigan
michaeljameskerrigan now I'm wondering what I've got on CZcams. I shall have to take a look later. I suspect my other efforts were in full auto, point and shoot sort of things. I later started to play with the manual settings which improved my results and sent a clip to Terry and Ian to see if they would be interested in creating some music. When I heard the demo they sent me I realised I would have to up my game to do the music any sort of justice. Thanks again for the feedback and offer of advice. I hope Terry and Ian are happy to get involved with future projects. Regards Kris
Danny Boast Photos & Videos. Thanks for the compliments. It's been very enjoyable and been interesting getting to grips with the editing software (or should I say trying).
Just watched this lovely piece of footage and listened to the ASTOUNDING score once again! It has drawn me back SO many times! And yet it has not been viewed so much! You are not ADVERTISING this KRIS as much as you can! Can I help you with this?
michaeljameskerrigan hi Michael. No I don’t push it. I thought if people liked it then it would spread by word of mouth. Maybe it does need pushing more, how can you help with this?
I found this .. Video + Music .. mesmerising. Only one criticism - not long enough! In your email to me you said that "a couple of my pals produced some music especially to go with the video". Here's a question: How many others - (like me) - got 'fooled' into thinking that we were all listening to Pink Floyd? Then, right at the very end in the credits .. .. .. "Music Created by - Ian Walsh & Terry Fenton" All - in - all a First Class production .. .. .. how about? - "Goole's Got Talent". . Keep that camera - a - rollin' Kris. P.S. - I have subscribed to your CZcams channel.
How you doing Kris M? After producing this seminal production of a view of 'SO' many hundreds, if not thousands or more of the people of Goole, East Yorkshire, England, UK who are SO PROUD to live with 'where they are'. Give us a clue Kris. We want you to produce more. Keep in touch with the your audience. Believe it or not, You HAVE a local backing! Mike Kerrigan.
Hi Mike. I’m well thanks. Well in truth it hasn’t had that many views, a little over 2000 and I know that some people have watched it several times, so the number of people that have actually seen it is even lower. No matter I have started another project but I have been busy on unrelated matters for a while. I need to get back to the current project soon. Thanks for you support. Kris
Hi, I'm interested in licensing your footage for an upcoming UK TV programme, on the channel Dave, following the journey of a beer silo being transferred from Belgium to the UK via the Port of Goole. I think your footage would look great in the show and we can offer you a credit at the end of the episode. To discuss further, please contact me at paris.wilder@back2back.tv. Thanks!
I didn't realise Venice has a level crossing that splits it in two, holding everyone up. Every time I go to Venice I see fashionable people, in employment, and capable of conversing in English rather well. If only that were true in Goole. I suppose it has advantages. If you have rubbish to dump, just find the nearest "tenfoot". Nobody will see yours among all the other stuff. If you want a full-size tip, just travel up the road a bit to "Old Goole" or Swinefleet. They make the main town look upmarket.
sean kirby unfortunately being able to travel to beautiful places like Venice doesn’t give someone the ability to see beyond the end of their nose. Nobody for one minute is comparing Goole to Venice but there are some parallels in how the places were created and that mixed with a bit of self deprecating northern humour. You wouldn’t happen to be the same SeanKirby from Rawcliffe would you? The Sean Kirby who lets his dog defecate in the street then gets fined for not clearing it up. No surely not, nobody could be that stupid to defecate on their own doorstep and then have the hypocrisy to criticise others people’s environs 😂😂😂
Don't believe what you read in newspapers. In my case, what was written cost the Goole Times and their owners Johnston Press a lot of money, as in £14,000 for libel. I was never fined and never paid a penny to the ERYC. The council accused me and I was exonerated. What I have written about Goole is correct. The video claims it's the Venice of the North. Complete and utter bollocks. This place is a tip. The only advantage I have is that Airmyn Dump (council tip) is between Rawcliffe and Goole. People from Goole shithole can take some of the place to Airmyn.
Just watched this wonderful production again. The film footage and editing is wonderful and the musical accompaniment is astounding. Why hasn't this been viewed and appreciated SO MUCH MORE?
A beautifully made file with beautiful music in accompaniment. Shine on indeed.
A hidden gem on CZcams. Thanks I really enjoyed this.
shine on !
fantastic video

This is SUCH a wonderful piece of visual and artistic poetry.
Awesome Stuff fellas...Proud of you all !
Helen Smith, my sister and Kris M's dance partner recommended this. So glad; beautifully shot, great drone work and evocative track.
Thanks Geoff, glad you enjoyed it.
Excellent coverage of Goole and its surroundings!
Had a lovely day for it . Not so nice on them dull damp wet days .

Certainly not little. Certainly not poisonous (there's a LONG word for you, eh?).
I report what I find.
Goole is a shithole.
sean kirby you’re funny, funny in the head. Go buy yourself some dog pooh bags.
