Ever noticed in many Dawah videos they blur out women. They see them as insignificant. A lustful object that needs blurring.. the reason being it’s for her protection. By that logic women need protection from Muslim men … as the men are the one defending the blurring of women.

1) if what you mean is(for example) I have my wife for example wandering in the street without hijab etc and other men finding her(sexually or otherwise) beautiful and masturbating by thinking about her in house, then, I would have no problem with that. What is wrong with this? Same thing for man. If I was a man with very much sexual appeal(like muscles etc) and a random woman saw me in the street and found me sexually appealing and masturbated at house, so what? What is wrong with that? Many people would say that this is to protect women but protecting women from what? From a random man seeing her beauty? Why do you think this is something from which women need protection? As I said, it is normal you find such things abnormal from a conservative religious outlook but from a secular humanistic perspective where the long term happiness, well being of humans are valued; such things would not be wrong as long as there is mutual consent and no serious harm involved. Similarly, I am also not against polymory, having multiple partners as long as both men and women can benefit from this right, or open relationships. Of course, the fact that I deem those things to be more doesn't mean that they are appropriate forms of relationships for everyone, many people would not be okay with sharing their husband or wife, some would be. But this is not a sufficient ground to deem all of those relationships immoral.
2) This still constitutes unequal rights for men and women. Men are allowed to appear in public spaces without having to cover their faces, arms, legs below knees(men just have to cover between knees and belly button) but women have to cover everything, including face to some. This is definitely unjust.

Has nothing to do with Islam but with personal character. I'm soft with women, I could never hit her. I don't even shout, because it would lower my honour and make me seem desperate. Forsaking her and not talking to her works so that she knows you're not happy with her.
It would be easier to have concubines. They don't even have to be Muslims. You only have her when you need to release the desires. The human male body is created weak, it needs food and water and it needs a woman. If my body didn't need her, I would not have wasted time with her. They speculate, based on scientific evidence, that rape and trauma to the area at such a young age would harm reproduction. Aisha was 9, he was 53 i believe when he raped her.

Even so, if you have to kill someone, like REALLY need to kill someone in self-defence, you NEVER fantasise about taking your time and causing them to suffer. You just do one or two gunshots or knife stabs and call the police. And yes I mention police because Islam is supposed to be a religion of all time, so it has to work in the modern times.

This upsets me. I mean, I've been there. When you're inside this, it is hard to understand what is happening. You need to take a step back and look at it from the outside to know how toxic this is. Almost like an impressionist painting...When you stand too close to it, you will not see the actual picture. My ex reprimanded me for (not) leaving the house at night once. He thought I went out in the middle of the night because the keys were not in the door as usual. He screamed at me and old me to pack my bag and leave...Well, he found the keys later in his pocket.
Back then, I let him threaten and shout at me. This would not happen to me today.

Eventually, though, he became increasingly abusive, and I left him when I had my firstborn. His behaviour became a threat to my baby. I could not justify it any longer.
Then I started looking into the religious justifications for my mistreatment, for my role as a woman. I left after about a year of studying Quran and ahadith.
My ex is threatening me to this day, and I moved a lot.
However, I have managed to make up for many things that were taken for me. I am now happily married and am continuing with my career plans. So, it's hard, but there is alight at the end of the tunnel.

There is also " Narrated Aisha: Abu Bakr came to towards me and struck me violently with his fist and said, "You have detained the people because of your necklace." But I remained motionless as if I was dead lest I should awake Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) although that hit was very painful." -Sahih al-Bukhari 6845

Regarding the Quran verse that says to strike a wife, the Quran is believed to be the revealed word of God, who is an all perfect being. However, muslims would say that it needs to be interpreted. So, God needs mortals to clarify his messages? The hadith serve to complement the Quran and lend clarity to it, yet hadiths were written by men and some are not legitimate. Makes perfect sense.
These are NOT the words of a Wise and Merciful God.

This is a cultural issue going back thousands of years, not just by muslims, that has become inherent in Islamic scripture. All walks of life once acted in this way. What makes it difficult now though is times and attitudes have changed yet Islam hasn't and won't. You can question, criticize, mock and reform pretty well any religion other than Islam, it's haram and that is it's weakest argument: it can never 'fit in' within the Western culture.

Heard this exact thing being told to men, women, and children in mosques in Los Angeles. Multiple times.
It's not hard to find possible parallels with other cultures, particularly where marriages were not so much between individuals as between families, powerful clans etc where money/power and status are central to the relationship. We can see this in the late mediaeval Paston Letters, where women beat a sister until she accepts the marriage. The difference is that the Quran 'freezes' this practice for all time as part of the 'perfect' religion.

It would be worth mentioning not only why beating is wrong but that it prevents human kind from evolving emotionally and mentally. That is an animalistic behaviour to use physical force but actually healthy, loving, respectful communication between the spouses would be something that is levels above. As a woman i am amazed by the kindness and magnanimity of our scholars who say its not to hurt or humiliate a woman but to make her realize she has disobeyed her husband .. its to be done very lightly should not leave a mark and never on the face ..with a folded hanky or miswak . Its not a solution they agree but certain circumstances and CERTAIN WOMEN justify some action . Such rulings make me numb with shock and disbelief .

The Hadith says do it with "Siwak" i.e the branch of the Arak tree, and as long as bones are not broken and flesh is not torn then it's all fair game .

You can't blame Islam without proper reaserch about religion.That verse is to calm man when he sees his wife having sex with other man.Nushuz mean having sex.Explanation about that in last Farewell sermon.There is even Hadith about that that men can't beat her when she cheat,he can't use anything except toothbrush(siwak) and he can't use it on her body except arms and legs after first and second step.It's so obvious that it's about calming a man who was cheated in front of his eyes.Wives of prophet never asked for permission to go out.Lot of muslim men never reaserched anything about religion and they have misused those verses.The other Hadith is about women who lied that her man beat her and later that he is impotent.If she was honest she wouldn't change her story.
