Merchant and customer if it is a system delays then it is not merchant or customers fault and if its a valid delays out of business days covered then filing a case could be the next step and it is everyones right
Please...o is it that each time a customer makes payment through shopify's payment, i will have to use my own personal money to purchase the product for the customer, afterwhich shopify now releases the one that the customer paid before to my payout after 5days.
I don't know why Shopify Payments not allowed for stores based in Saudi Arabia. You make our business very difficult and other payment gateways reject our stores with no reasons even if we have a companies in UK or USA! I still in this misery since my store launched 16 months ago
Can i use flutterwave virtual dollar card to pay for shopify plan 2) Payoneer or 3) Paystack which one do you accept. I have been trying to pay since last month. Thanks

I just got my first sale and I am trying to get paid out through my shopify balance account. However, when I go to pending payouts it says I have none. Is there any fix or do I just have to wait?

If payouts still on pending and it is a valid reason that caused of delays is in the system then it is not a merchants fault. Its time to take an action and file a necessary case due to negligence and technology delays process so who must be blame?

This is very stressful. I've been waiting over 3 weeks, still on pending.... I had already talked with 4 assistants, and they said I just need to wait for an email... this is not ok.. Definitely agree with you Richard

Is there a way to sync my daily sales summary report with the time period of the shopify payment? It is impossible to reconcile when daily sales are split into payments.
Thanks for your question, Peggy. I recommend viewing your payout history by transaction by heading to *Settings > Payments > Payouts > View Transactions > Export* to get the break down you need.

Question, When a customer purchases a gift card from our store... do we get payout when they purchase the gift card or when the customer spends the gift card?
Hi, there! Giftcard purchases are processed immediately, but they won't show up on any of your reports until they've been used by the customer. I hope this helps!

That's correct! The amount paid for the gift card will be included in your next available payout when the gift card is sold. It'll be recorded in the Payments finance report under the payment method that the customer used to purchase it. When the gift card is used to purchase something, it'll then be included in your store's Sales reports.
so ht if u get paid from shopify balance can u then transfer to your business bank account right away free of extra fees

yea that's my first payout but and am using shopify payment. Also hope the online bank I attached in (mono bank) can be used for the payout ?
Thank you for confirming that Odinaka. You should be able to see your scheduled payout date in your admin, if not yet then you should very soon. For the payout bank account, we do support virtual bank accounts, but you might experience more payout failures with these accounts. Contacting your bank to confirm if they can accept payouts of this nature is the best course of action.

The length of time between the date that a customer's payment is captured and the date that your payout is sent to your bank account depends on the country that your store is based in. When a payout is initiated, it goes through an internal processing period. This time allows for various checks and verifications to ensure the transaction is legitimate and complies with relevant regulations. Once the payout is processed on our end, it is sent to your bank. The time it takes for the bank to process the transaction can vary depending on their internal procedures and the specific banking institution involved. I will make it simple they have all these excuses why they hold the money. When they can actually deposit it right away but pretty much they do that to make money from all the money held in interest shoot the money is there the customer paid wtf are they waiting for 🤦🏻♂️

@@ShopifyHelpCenter I'm on the settings, plan and it states that yearly for basic is £228 starting May. So I'm still on £1 month untill then...does that mean checkout service will not work?
You will be able to begin selling as long as you select a paid plan, even if it hasn't started yet. You can place a test order on your store (shopify.link/VBLR) before you launch for good measure, and if you're able to access your checkout and complete a test order, that means you're ready to take real orders!

Wasted my time building a shopify site only to find out that payouts AREN'T NEXT DAY! This is bad for small business who need to fulfill orders for customers within a few days and need the funds available. It is a bad look that customers will have to wait almost two weeks on items that you're selling between waiting 5 days for payout then, production on a product, then shipping times. If you want instant payments move over to square!
i opened shopify & i wouldn't recommend any one shopify i did a basic plan and got charged more then 800$ and the support doesn't even care there just telling me its your problem and they don't want to help with anything they just snatch what they can after they try to sell you a side hustle they hustle you
