I would love to hang around this guy for about 6 months to learn, when he's gone people don't realize how much wisdom will be gone with him.
Heck I would let him adopt me if I could just learn just half of what he has forgotten 👍😁
Old School is the best school.
Bob you take that day off with pay.
You earned it!! Great video of scientific rat rod calculation's
once again. I dig it BOSS. 😆
Love it when I see a guy about my age sitting in his ride and sounding out running through the gears. Great video👍
If I could learn just half of what this man has forgotten I would be happy 👍
You Sir is one awesome human being. I wish i had a father or grandfather like you!
I truly enjoy your channel. Have watched for years! My favorite was the Falcon!! Keep it going Bob!!!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I second that. I haven't been watching for yrs. But I hope I can catch up. Nice job 👍
I saw your calculations and instantly had a flashback to my school days doing fractional calculations and it gave me a headache!
We have the metric system here in Ireland so we're a bit pampered, ie 15 milimetres plus 27 milimetres is easy to work out, none of this converting 1/8 to 1/16 etc.
Also, it's a joy to watch a craftsman doing his work, that sheet metal could not be prouder than what you did to it, especially extra cool details like putting in a bead roll just because you can!
Cheers Bob, we appreciate ya!
Wasn't expecting a video but my Friday just got better
I am binge watching Bob.
Outstanding work! I was really impressed with the sheet metal brake and how you manipulated it. You know so much, I am constantly amazed. And the sound effects were cool too! 😆
You should build a cool Rat Rod Bob motorcycle and do a meet up at Daytona Bike Week
I sure would like to borrow your highly classified rat rod calculator. Seems everything you do with it comes out real nice!
I had to sit in my thinking chair for long time to figure this one out. LOL
I think you like doing the sheet metal work the most.
Hey Bawb, that's how we roll in Merica...cup holders... gotta have them. Great video
Have not been able to watch your videos or other's CZcams Channels something due to weather or it could be the fact they spraying that crap in the skies above even with WIFI no signal. I am lucky I able to watch this video I have lost a good amount of your videos . keep up the great videos Thanks for sharing
Damn!Late again.Another winner Bawb.Keep 'em comin'.
Outstanding work as always Bob. I really liking everything about this truck. Won’t be long you will be vooorm vooorm doing the road. Stay safe see you on next one. ✌️🤣👍
Bob, you do sheet metal work like a Boss.
Ol' Red has a smart mouth on him sometimes. He needs to remember that unless Bob plugs him in and gives him a charge, Red can't do nuthin'.
Ole truck looking pretty good. Thanks
Thanks for the Inspiration Bob! I'm gonna go work on my 65 4x4 😉
Ur an Ace when using the new sheet metal brake... Time to get Urself ta Vegas and show Em how ta pull winners Otta the One Arm Bandits.🎲
Call the artist 📞 tell him we need some JYD designs for the new T shirts, they're flying off the shelves just in time for Christmas. Woooooo nice console Bob !👍😉✌
I thought about that a lot but I gotta wait until I get it painted so the artist can see what it's gonna look like. May still make it for Christmas if I can get Red off his butt.
Rat Rod Bob you never cease to amaze me . I enjoy watching to see what you will come up with next. Oh Yeah Reds glad you put the cup holders in the console to hold there drinks.
Get yourself a set of T-handles, Bob.
Looks real good Bob. Glad to see Red is rested and back !!!
REALLY like the center console! I’d add some Dynamat type material to the underside side of it to eliminate the tinny sheet metal sound..
That's what I was thinking.
🤔 But I was thinking about adding some more pleats like he did on the sides. (Or wtevr u call that). But like you said, that Dynamat would be perfect for the job. I dont remember hearing him mentioning how he'd go about attaching and securing it once it's ready for install, but I'm thinking as it is now that it's gonna rattle. The headers and exhaust will even resonate with that metal. Yep... Dynamat tape 👍
It's fun watchin ya Bob. That looks COOL
Bhrooom Broom BBBOOWOW that's what we want Bob
That is some precision rat rod artistry there Bob! Great job! Thanks for the video!
Hey brother love that look 👀 and work ability it’s got an when it’s done I need a ride !!!!!🤙🙏😎
Console looks great. Another great job. And the distressed metal paint job is incredible as usual. Look forward to more on the old Junkyard Dog C10. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks for sharing all this classified ratrodology intel Bob! Don't be surprised to see it on my truck eventually. ;) Like Rat Rod Espionage. lol
Good call!
Looks great Bob! And hey, loved the engine sound effects. 👍
Nice work Bob!
Your stylin now bawb, very cool 😎
You da man. Thank you R.R.Bob👍
Pretty damn sweet Bob, you are a fabricating genius, i have the same HF break, and your right the break part is about the only thing good about it and the box break part is really handy, that plastic part for the shifter, i had the same thing going on with mine, i used some epoxy and some thin abs, and it fixed it up real good, you probably notice i'm usually a few videos behind, but i don't want to miss a thing, you just make me want to go out and make something, lol, have a great Sunday and catch you on the next one
Loving the paint effect
And VIOLA! A cookie sheet.

Nice job Bob 😎 I’m digging it 👍
WOW! You really got your truck looking good. Keep up the great work. Have you ever built a Rat Rod Lawn Tractor, I'm building one maybe two. I bought three for a great price I already had one So I just need to get a few things to start building them, Your videos have a been a great help on my builds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I love all types of rat rods, I love your work Rat Rod BOB!
I thought a lot about building a Rat Rod lawn tractor ... just waiting for one or two donors to show up! LOL
👉 looking good Bob hay Bob don't no if any one else can hear your Mike sounds like you have a lot of wind sound going threw it might try and put some kinda foam over it
Not needing a dummy around telling me what to do is the very reason that I ain't got no o'l lady. I used to think I needed one until I realized their wiring harnesses have an improper layout.
Hey, I love me some women now but I hear ya .... I'm pretty sure they have their negative wire hooked up to the positive side .... making sparks fly when we least expect it!
I see you put a beer holder in there
Ha haa .. the ole truck ain't gonna be 100% street legal but the 5 oh might overlook that if they pull you over ..... unless you have beer in the cup holder ... then all bets are off!
Hey Bob, you must have studied for a long time to master all those precise scientific ratrodological equations. I bet you graduated Magnum Vroom Loudy!
YUP .... Vroom Vroom!
👍
Hey Bawb, Your a master at what you do and what you do it with!!!!!! Pretty fancy console for the ole dog!!!! Must be gettin' pretty close to gettin' done with fabbing, and starting to pull it apart for finishing and paint!!!!! Did they ever read what they had wrote and figure your engine parts out, or are they still telling you oval's and rectangles work together??????? HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!
Coming apart soon. I still gotta fine tune the front facial stuff and make new grill mounting brackets because the stock ones don't work well with this custom grill and get the doors done up. I already sold those heads and got my money back. Still got the oval port intake.
Yea.
Bob you going to the no name nationals
I remember you saying you weren't going to use those seats , so are going to use them after all...?
Gonna use them for now until some better ones shows up at my door. LOL
👍🏼🍻
I thought it was “ we’re gettin it, we just ain’t got it yet “? When did you change it? I like we’re better imao, love this build btw
When I did the t shirt "we" didn't sound right ... I thought it needed to be more personal. I reckon it's an old as dirt thing ... who cares.
Hello boss
Are u gonna revist the Henry j
???
Why not make it out of metal I have to get a dinner to blend in with the console you made I think it'll look good
Kind of sound like red making them.motor sounds 😆
What vehicle did those seats originally come out of? They look great!
99 Dodge Ram 😎
Say what are some of your favorite grinding (4 & 4 1/2") disk's. Picked up some 40 grit flapper wheels, is that what you use to grind down welds on a cut & but joints on a fender rust repair or cab corner kind of stuff? Hoping there mite be a wheel that's tougher than those sand paper things. Love my 7 1/4 " diamond blade on my little cordless grinder - kind of a death wheel being I took the guard off to get it on there but being a no tooth blade low speed grinder. Sure wish some brand spun in the opposite direction like with my two cordless circular saws one being DeWalt left handed and the other being Milwaukee right handed.
Dewalt makes excellent grinding wheels and flapper disc. Sandpaper wheels, as far as I'm concerned, should be left for woodworking not metal work. If you want a great breakdown of grinding/flapper wheels, check out the channel Project Farm. He tests multiple brands, and I mean he really tests them.
Yea Andy, I like diablo flapper wheels ... they're nice and thick and last a long time. I used to buy those cheap ones at harbor freight but they ain't cheap no more. Although I do still get warrior cut off wheels there by the ten pack. 40-60 grit flapper wheels for fast cutting and 80 grit for smoothing it all down.
Road Hammer is correct about Project Farm. He loves to stress test stuff for sure.
I love that console. Did you say you built the robot red?
I did build Red and videod the process ... here is the playlist:

@@RatRodBobBuilds Thank you
Can the piece be put in from the back, allowing the short lip to go to a 90
I'm assuming you're talking about that plastic junk piece. That is a good idea but I decided I'm gonna make a leatherette boot to take it's place.
