for a gun that costs over 1000. youve had 2 pretty big problems that would make me hesitant on buying one. I love how it looks and ive been sold on it until now.

Thanks for sharing. Was very interested in the 327 Pug. Not now as much, especially for the price and wear issues. Wow!!!

Back up guns are important. Unless you buy a Glock.

It sounds like the "Pug Nose" needs to be sold off or traded. It's broken too often. I would have zero confidence in it. I think that it's either a lemon or the quality of Smith & Wesson has really taken a dive. Can you really trust your life to it? I would not carry it even if you gave it to me.

That's really sad. It reminds me of Smith and Wesson's spotty quality. My last S&W revolver was a 5in 686 plus pro. Brand new gun. When I get it home and do a more detailed check of the gun, I pull the grip off only to find rust spots underneath. New revolvers cost way too much money to leave the factory with all these defects people are finding/experiencing. Get with it Smith and Wesson!

Just get a Glock alright. Reliability is the No.1 thing.

As much as I want a 360pd I can't bring myself to trust any of the scandium/titanium builds. They were designed to be carried a lot and shot little and I have a habit of practicing as much as possible with my carry guns. All my other S&Ws from the 70s to today have no problems, but they're made of steel and aluminum alloy.

Having a similar issue with mine, in addition to a loose barrel shroud. I've only fired it maybe 300 times. I like the gun, but this is really not acceptable considering the price. I'm sending it back to smith, then selling it.

S&W quality has just gone in the crapper the last 10 years. Just won't have anything to do with their new stuff...

Sorry to hear it's going back once again Ol1911, it's one of my favorite guns you've had on your channel too. I've personally never had to send back any firearm I've ever owned and I've had too many to count over the years haha. Hopefully you get it back soon

Very unfortunate you have so many issues with the S&W. Hope the problem gets resolved quickly.

Having a back-up carry gun that you are proficient with is good advice. Hope S&W gets the pug squared away for you. Thanks for the info update!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, S&w has sold their soul. Their quality has turned to total crap...crooked barrels, cheap springs, etc. I'll stick with ruger. OR buy an old 686 when they made them like they gave a damn.

I love that revolver! Last time I shipped a revolver back to Smith (finish issue) they told me just take it in a box to any UPS and tell them it's "machined parts" LOL

That has happened to me before on other revolvers. It needs a new hand. You can purchase one and fit it yourself in about 20 minutes by fitting and filing. After a lot of rounds the hand wears on the tip and the timing goes out. I am sure that you will have the gun back soon and you will be good to go for another huge number of rounds.
