This honestly needs to be a level 6. there's level 6 puzzles which are WAY easier than this.
The Hanayama NEWS puzzle comes to mind. This one took me a couple days to figure out.

HeadN00bZ thats what I meant. The ufo took me a couple days. The NEWS puzzle which is rated 6 took me like 4 minutes.

I just started up puzzling and let me tell you it's the most fun and frustration I've experienced at a time haha. I have been featuring a couple puzzles on my channel if anyone wants to check them out!
I DID IT YALL!!! I FREAKING SOLVED IT...I Must of screamed so loud and started jumping up and down! It only too me 3days, 4 videos and 2 pdf files
And this puzzle is level 4 out of 6.

Sometimes I think that level 4 puzzles are tougher than level 5.
I just discovered these types of puzzle about a week ago and was super interested so I bought this one. I watched a couple videos on how to solve but this one honestly helped the most, I finally took it apart and reassembled it twice last night. Gonna buy another one soon do you have any recommendations? Thanks for the help man 😎

I have three parts marked 2 and one marked 3 in mine. Maybe that is the reason it gets stuck so easily when first piece is on its way out or when trying to put it back in again.
Three parts marked 2? That is odd. But you can take it apart and assemble again?

This one is hard. It has to be level 6 instead of 4.
I received mine about a week ago. It reminded me of the cast Dial which is made by the same designer. I only wonder if this is the true solution? I solved it the same way with the first piece falling out. I kept thinking I needed to orient them a certain way so the UFO and Hanayama pieces could slide apart. It may be a trick to mislead us or maybe a different solution. I will keep trying and see. :)
I think this is the true solution. It is impossible to slide apart UFO and Hanayama parts due to design of piece #3.
Few times i solved it with piece #2 falling out first, but it was not a consistant solution.
@@Puzzleguy Ah yes, I also had piece 2 fall out as well. I see now, as you said piece 3 won't let it slide apart until at least piece 1 or 2 comes out first. Very clever design. It kept me busy longer than I would have expected.
Same with me. I thought it will take me 20-30 minutes to solve it, but i spent 40 minutes on false solution. When i realised there is always something on the way to slide apart two pieces, i start looking for an other solution.
Actually i was trying to make live solving video, but didn't expect puzzle to be so difficult. When I watched the footage, there was a lot of swearing in Russian language during filming😆

Boyfriend bought this for himself. I picked up and got it apart in minutes. Took me about 45 minutes to get back together.
Wow, you got it apart very quick. It takes at least 30-40 minutes to take apart.

@@donna8536 Honestly I don't know. My boyfriend told me what to look for and within minutes of messing with it the edge of one hung over the opening. I haven't been able to get it again if it makes you feel better :)
Mine must be broken. I've tried for several hours, with every conceivable combination, but it doesn't work. One piece will fall slightly, but now where near the extent that his first piece falls.
All puzzles are broken until you solve them :)
Probably you do something wrong or a little bit different.
I’ve tried every combination exactly how you said and it still won’t come out. I hate this puzzle.
People coming to see this video because Japanese CZcamsr called 「夕闇に誘いし漆黒の楽屋」watched this video and tried to solve this puzzle in their video and they talked about this video. They struggle by this puzzle.

I assume that I can't Just slide the outside parts away. Do you have any hint? I don't want to spoil myself the entire solution but I'm really clueless atm. Help me :(
Look at the circle cutouts, do they look the same?
@@Puzzleguy I noticed that One Is bigger than the other and I tried to male one of the Pieces slip away in the larger hole. I think this is the solution but I'm sure that I missed something.

PSA: If you are in the same boat as a lot of people and can't get your puzzle open even while following along. It's not you, it's the puzzle, unfortunately these are mass produced casts. They aren't all perfect. My UFO puzzle will not ever come apart by hand, you have to get the pieces aligned and pry it out with a small flat blade screwdriver. My friends UFO however when properly aligned the piece will literally fall out.

Mines way too slippery. It doesn’t even remotely come close to a solution. No pieces ever drop. It sucks. I can get a fraction of a drop then nothing just slides everywhere and doesn’t have any solution that makes sense. It’s just a struggle.
I don’t recommend this puzzle at all. I’ve solved a ton of others without any issues.
Fuck that God damn puzzle. I wish I could upload a picture of mine after taking my 5lb sledge to it. Solved it for an entire day, then must of bent it or something while putting it back together bc it wouldnt come apart anymore. Biggest POS ever!!!!!

If you like puzzles, avoid this one, it is terrible, only puzzle I’ve ever solved with a hammer and trash can

First off: that is not a true authentic hanayama. That is a knockoff copy. Real hanayama puzzles are NOT painted, they are colored chemically using dyes, bluing, or anodizing of some sort. These painted versions are illegal copies for which hanayama will not receive any payment.
Secondly: I found your solution hard to follow compared to others with more detailed explanations.
