KUBOTA L2501. THE #1 BEST WAY TO GET A GRIP. THE GRAPPLE

  • In this video, I get yet another chance to use my new Worksaver grapple. I put it to work cleaning up downed limbs and trees in our 100 acre pasture.
    I start by cutting down a dead red elm tree and cleaning that up.
    If you are new to tractors and implements, welcome aboard.
    Grab something to drink, sit back and relax , and watch the little Kubota out doing what it was brought here to do. It always seems very much at home here.
    Thanks for watching, and please remember:
    Life is good. Even better from the tractor seat.

      Seriously Mathew, that has been a game changer for me.
      A couple people commented on how it saves on the back to cut stuff up off the ground. Chains too.
      Your mini is a step up from what I have. Albeit a rather big step. Having the right tools for the job is nice.
      I am as much in love with my L2501 as you are yours.
      Thanks for watching Mathew.

    Great action video with the grapple, they are a great attachment to have and it looks like you are getting a lot of use from it. Holding the limbs at a good height while you cut them up looks like a great back saver. Walking around on a cow field is much like a mine field 🙂 Your burger conversation with the cows was very funny

    Great video, Gary. I wish I had a true grapple. I have a poor man's grapple - carry things to the tractor and place them on some boards on my forks! Was the cow happy you were able to address its extended warranty? LOL

  • @houndsmanone4563
    @houndsmanone4563 Před rokem +1

    Had to chuckle when you told the cow that you've been trying to reach her about an extended warranty 😁. I like that small chainsaw. It looks nice and lightweight. Heck, after I use my chainsaw for several minutes, I'm ready for a serious break b/c the dang thing must weigh 25 pounds. Gary, how old is your quonset-hut barn? It had to be one heck of a build when you and dad constructed it. Try to get something that large and stable today and you're talking a small fortune. Enjoyed a full-watch. Be good and I'll see you on your next TTWG video. S/F and take care of yourself and Mama. (PS: I enjoyed your last video of your bride's holistic approach to pet care) Later brother. Don 👍🏽🤠 8/9/23

      Thanks Don.
      The Quonset was built in 1969. All of the sheathing is native red oak from this farm. I helped with all of the construction. The building that it replaced was destroyed in a tornado. None of the machinery inside sustained any damage.
