Carra vs Ty round 2.... coming VERY soon 👀
My mate Ty will be very happy
As an Arsenal fan just remember he represents himself not all of us😂 but it’s comedy gold to see so enjoy people!
GET CRISTIANO RONALDO ON THE OVERLAP
Yesss
o god
The best duo in the business. Unlikely friends but Liverpool and Manchester are more similar than people think.
@@mickcee5053 *their
@@mickcee5053 He prefers tea over coffee though so he's gone up in my estimation 😂. Plus his compliment about Henry.
@@mickcee5053 damn how long you gonna hold that over his head, man clearly apologised and regrets it and has not done anything remotely like that since
@@mickcee5053 how boring is that mate, seriously? So so boring.
Everyone thinks they’re similar mate
Imagine trying to convince someone in 2010 that Neville and Carragher would be the best comic duo in the country in a few years
Gary saying favourite 'filum' and Cara not knowing that he's taking the piss here haha
"One Flew Over The Coocoo's Nest"
I'm from Liverpool and that's how i say it. What's wrong with how we say it tho?
@@CoolDude-jp1kj Nothing. It's just funny to the rest of us because it sounds like you're adding a vowel between the "l" and the "m", and there's no real reason to do so. But you're not alone, many Irish folks say "filum" as well. And it's not like English is the most consistent language anyway. Every accent has some words that are pronounced in a weird way. It's all good.
@@MarkHogan994 very well said
@@MarkHogan994 well said
Nev - "Cortado?"
Carra - "Who's he play for?"
🤣🤣
I used to be an avid tea drinker, but honestly coffee just tastes so much better.... nothing like a nice creamy vanilla latte on a cold day
😂😂
Poofda
Very underated bit of wit from Jamie there 😂
As a United fan, I never imagined a day when I would be excited about an interview with Carra, but here we are 😂
Haha.
I love the fact that they disliked eachother so much when playing but are the perfect duo now. I HATED GN but now think he's decent.
I get what you mean, as a Scouser I hated Gary Neville as a player, but he and Carra are just a perfect double act
Yeah, it’s surreal lol. He sort of rubs off on ya I guess.
This is the interview we've been waiting for since Gary started this damn channel.
This brilliant dam channel
Yes both northern English with a heavy Irish population. They should be closer...
since these two started their punditry careers, you should've known everything about Cara by now!
Roy keane job was unbeatable
These two fellas are absolute gold together, love how they’ve gone from rivals to best friends pretty much, could watch them all day.
@Straight Shooting ahaha yeah they do mate
@Straight Shooting Gary said that, yes. But that interview was years ago.
@Straight Shooting They actually do, what’s stung you on the ass ya miserable sod! 🙄
@Straight Shooting know either of them personally?
@Straight Shooting No but I reckon Neville's opinion on that is better than yours, boomer.
The overlap with gary is possibly one of the best things to come to sky sports In a very long time. Cracking watch again and as a Liverpool fan I can't wait for the full interview with carra.
@Straight Shooting there will be a second part to this just like there was with the Roy Keane interview.
As for Gary neville in what term to do you mean when you say he needs to educate himself?
@Straight Shooting you're a clown. Gary does this with every guest on the channel. Quick questions first then the full video a few days later
@Straight Shooting But aren't you assuming their won't be a second part to this vid with carra??
But again where has neville spouted off on political rants that he doesn't know anything about?
@Straight Shooting I don't think the sun shines out of his backside, but I know a good pundit when I see one and looking through the comments you seem to be the only one with a problem with him, so why don't you do what you clearly like doing and be a keyboard warrior and tell him how you feel.
I'm sure he'll give you his opinion on your tweet that you seem to love...
@Straight Shooting Looks like my assumption wasn't foolish after all. The second part has just been released on the overlap.....
The way they both looked at each and erupted in laughter 😂😂😂
“Mother in laws house, brilliant wedding dress maker”…
“Shall we go in”?
“Nah…. Cars not there”….
“Might have been taken last night” 😂😂😂😂
Love these two!! 😂😂
Don't get this joke 😅
@patrykchanas944 I could be wrong, but Liverpool has a reputation for being a poor region so it might be that.
@@johnfranks2661 if so, now makes sense 😅
@@patrykchanas944 The stereotype is that Scousers steal things.
@@johnfranks2661 yep, theres a stereotype that scousers are all car thieves
Imagine sitting these pair down 15 years ago and telling them they’d be doing this, life really does come full circle 😂
It's a life lesson tbh..you can be on different sides, have different opinions...but can still be good friends...
Im not gonna lie, even as a United supporter, Carra has grown on me. Great interview guys.
Same here but as an Arsenal fan and him mentioning Henry helped. I suppose I'll tolerate his scouse accent... 😂
As a Liverpool fan, don’t be fooled!! Great player for us though
As a life long Liverpool fan who hated G Nev, it blows my mind how much I love like him as a man and a pundit since he retired.
Strange world init.
@@NeilLewis77 Hi mate as a United fan I think we as football fans get swept along with things, however there are certain songs I won't join in with, we know which ones, and have even taken other United fans to task over them on occasions. The truth is we need each other.
As a Havant and Waterlooville fan, I couldn’t agree more
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is one of the greatest films ever. Love how Carra stopped in his tracks he was so shocked that Gary hasn'y seen it.
True. Lucky enough to have seen the live play version some decades ago and I still have the paperback copy of the book I read at school 43 years ago.,
Big deal its only a film mate
@@makcine6870 why do you have to kill the vibe bro 🍿
@@makcine6870 Boring sod
Brilliant film
That “might have been taken last night” joke is brilliant, love the face Neville makes is perfect
The collab we been waiting for
They’ve literally been collaborating for years on Sky
@Bobby Sutherland I’m not sure. Sarcasms usually funny
Can these bots go away, how’d ya get rid of em
As a life long Manchester United fan, this is the bromance I never thought I'd enjoy seeing for almost 10 years now on MNF and this? I can't wait for the full interview!! Absolutely love it
Same as a Liverpool fan. Used to despise Neville as a player, but he's really quite likeable.
Ha imagine 15 years ago, telling Gary and Jamie that they were gonna be mates one day :)
As a Liverpool fan I couldn't agree more 👍🏻
@@keahipasikala5044 are they friends?
This is a brilliant teaser for the full interview!
Thanks Declan
There had better be a full interview I swear !
@@TheOverlap channel has been top class guys, great effort

The bit about Scottish managers is amazing.
Cause it’s fuckin true!!
@@jimmynorris919 Jimmy ur Scottish aren’t ya
The old breed of Scots have died sadly. Mostly beta males now. I say that as a Scot
True but he missed off George Graham. Sometimes because of Wenger’s era people forget how good Graham was and what his Arsenal team achieved. Graham and Arsenal also ended Liverpool’s monopoly but Ferguson gets credited with ‘’knocking them off their perch’’. As an Arsenal fan, the Graham era was my favourite. They’re all legends of the game though these Scottish manages and Ferguson himself acknowledges how much he learnt from Jock Stein. Only time will tell but modern football doesn’t look like it’s producing these same kind of legends. The game has sold its soul.
@@gooner73clark88 That's because now the players tell the manager what's what.
When he starts singing 'in my life' The Beatles unprompted - what a crack up. Legendary 😂😂😂
0:58 that banter and laugh 🤣🤣🤣
Two fantastic people. Great representatives of their City and Clubs . As a Liverpool fan from Cork , Ireland I grew up like many in a family of Utd fans . I know as much about Utd as I do Liverpool. Two City’s that have so much in common. The step into punditry has suited these two . Certainly students of the game 👌
Turners cross
Love these two. They’re relatable cause we all had friends who supported man United or Liverpool and we gave each other shit anytime we could but we were still friends. That’s what these two give us.
GNev is amazing at these interviews, very natural & gets a lot more out of his guests than most boring interviews 👌🏼
the Roy Keane & Tyson Fury ones were Brilliant, hope there’s a full Carra interview to back this up 🙌🏼
The theory about Scottish manager is right I thought the same
🏴😎
@@caoland1990 tough people tough accents that people listen to and follow. Obviously they need to be competent but yeah there’s something in it
I think around 2011 there were about 8 Scottish managers in the Premier League. For the size of the country there are a lot of managers that make it to the highest level.
You've got to add Bob Paisley to that list though, and I'm a United fan.
@@niallmurray8654 Nice thoughts. Paisley was English, though.
Jamie held the scouse mafia off for the day lol love these two together
Great seeing these two together, rivals on the pitch. Professional off it they work so well together it’s a masterclass who’s ever idea it was I couldn’t imagine Monday night football without them
when the dog starts barking and Carragher's reaction... I nearly died of laughter
Could watch these two all day every day 🔥
6:30 love Gary’s awkward stare and silence
He was definetily not having it 😂😂
I thought he was going to choke.
He's thinking of his England penalty miss which of course Carra has completely forgotten about.
🤣
Haha I love how Gary always takes the piss out of scousers for stealing
Breaking news: Gary has been reported stolen after this interview.
It's funny because he's a manc and they're known for stealing and being homeless. I guess we ain't cruel so we don't mock those kinda things
@@CoolDude-jp1kj He's not a Manc
@@CoolDude-jp1kj what?
Love these two together. Their banter is proper top & when they have disagreements it's like getting their handbags out lol. Hope there's a full version of this
Love these 2 together could watch them all day
What an excellent interview from the pair of them. They clearly have mutual respect and are good sports with each other. The reason why they never got on as players is because they are so alike. And their similarities come across very well here.
Two legends of the game and love the content!
Legends? BWAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA
One legend
Perfect transitions from football to media!
So good! love these two.
Love this pair… never thought they’d be this good in the early days! But could watch them for hours !! Funny !
These two are effortlessly brilliant together
Two of the best pundits and commentators in football-and they were as splendid on the pitch, as well. Well done!
How can you not love Carra? Can’t wait for the full episode!
Brilliant, more of these two please, similar to the hour long one with Keane.
I could watch these two all day
Quality stuff, buzzing for the full episode
The way they step closer to each other at 0:54 is hilarious 😂😂😂
Carra and Neville.
We didn’t know we wanted them, we are absolutely grateful we got them.
This multi format for them both is one of the best things sky has done.
The banter between these two is class fair play to them to put their rivalry aside. Keep these going Gary! Legend of my my club #mufc
These 2 are just amazing together!
Great watch as always. Love these quick fire videos
Liverpool fan here, love Carra and Gary. Could watch them all day.
imagine just chilling in your house. You look out the window and you see Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher strolling through your neighborhood
Quality these 2 legends, love watching them💯💥
Really enjoy these quick fire questions with Gary. Hope we see many more to come.
As a huge Pool fan i love the overlap series with Gary, he's so funny and his partnership with Carra is pure gold, keep it up guys.
Shows what a down to earth guy Carragher is.
He came across really well 👍🏽👋🏽⚽
Can’t wait for this one! This channel is really a godsend.
I genuinely like that they get on so well.
Gary Neville walking the streets of Liverpool. Who would've thought we'd see that! 😂
It’s amazing that they can easily just take a stroll down the road without being bothered by anyone (I don’t know how early in the morning that is but still..)
There's no one around mate. Probably half 6 in the morning

What I love is the comfort level these two have with one another.

Love listening to both of them 👏👏👏
Love these 2 together.
Carra singing lmfaoo!!! These two are great together
Sounded better than I had expected tbh
He can hold a tune
Good stuff the lads…great dynamic 👏🏻👍
At first I couldn’t get on with these, I think coz what teams they played for got in my way, over a short period I realised how down to earth , funny , football mad and what great pundits they are . They know the game so well. I couldn’t imagine being without them know on sky
4:16 awww Gary's really flustered by Carra singing to him
Love that these two are friends and they work well together.
Colleagues
It's amazing how these have hit it off & became such a great pair of pundits together. It's got to be the obvious respect for each other. It showed in Nevs interview with Steve Gerrard. They probably hated each other as footballers but now they've finished, the respect given to each other is obvious. Cara's opinion of Scottish managers is bang on for me as well. The Scott's can come across aggressive with their accent when they're being far from it. It helps command the respect needed in a dressing room.
Its a good series, these two spark off each other and make for good viewing.
Absolutely loved it...I'm a red lfc fan,but I love the chemistry here
Gary is such a spectacular interviewer!!
As a United fan, I totally agree about the Scottish managers, however I would include one English manager in that pantheon, Bob Paisley.
Yes
Exactly, Bob Paisley has 3 European cups as Liverpool manager. A phenomenal achievment
Love these two. This was really enjoyable.
These are brilliant!
🔥🔥🔥two of my favourites
“Might of been taken last night” - brilliant Gary, brilliant😂😂😂. Good to see Gary getting on and having a laugh with a “Scouser” instead of head butting them🤪
am a gunner...happy how fast he responded with thierry henry when asked whot eh greateest prem player of all time was
These 2 are evolving football coverage and football based content creation that people like me can actually relate to! Love it! 💙💙💙
Just brilliant this 👌🏾
Wow very enjoyable to watch..Best duo
I love the vibe between these two lads.
These shows are brilliant 👏
This is nice to see- clear they have a good relationship now, almost cute
These two 🔥 🔥
something about two past rivals coming together and having a good chemistry and being good to watch. really good interview looking forward to watching the full version...ending in a pub in bootle? :P (everton fan)
I like how much more involved its getting with communities and fans
Imagine looking out your window and seeing Carra and Neville casually standing and chatting outside your house 🤔🤯😆
These two are the best duo in commentary
I could listen to these two all day
Could listen to these pair all day
Carra always takes a deep breath before he speaks
It is a trait common in people from the area.
It's a challenge speaking scouse 😂
@@MickeyRedNose it's a challenge still supporting Arsenal. 😁
It’s too stop himself from swearing
That’s because he then doesn’t pause for breath for the next five minutes
Imagine being in your house and hearing a Jamie Carragher and Garry Neville laughing outside
Love this two two of the best pundits
Could listen to this pair chat all day!
I know yall entertained by this but watch good morning interview with garry neville and edwina, he actually makes her look like a baffoon but most importantly my respect for him sky rocketted for actually caring about others! By the way they blocked the comments on that video🤣
Can you imagine going back to the 90's and telling someone that Carra and Nev would be the best partnership on tv in 2021, you'd have been certified.
Doesn't have to be 90s if you Said it in 2012 people would of tought you were crazy
These 2 are my favourite duo
Listening to Jamie makes me question what I did during English class at school😂 I love Overlap, such a cool format.
9:35 that proves their love for each other
