Funniest thing is that Alex is actually the one with the most power on this show yet he allows all this embarrassing stuff done to him for the sake of entertainment.

@@allenz7688 Here's a fun fact that you may not know, is that the funny thing about Taskmaster, when you realize it, is that you think Greg is the one in charge of the show, when in really it is Alex who not only is the one who created the show, and is in charge of it. Greg isn't really at all.

Lisa's giggling run after making Alex sit in the cake is one of the best moments of Taskmaster
That's great and I also like that when she's sitting at the table, you can see the exact moment she gets the core idea.

Rhod firmly established himself as a chaotic lunatic with flashes of genius when he reversed the script on the rope task.
Made more disturbing than it had to be by Rhod putting himself in a trance at the start of the task.
He basically just wanted to make Greg and Alex as uncomfortable as possible as often as he could, with no regard for actually winning. See his prize tasks with the photo of Greg, hiding in Greg’s closet all night without him noticing, the Grotto task, the quick-change task, etc.
The tied up challenge was a brilliant solution that paid off massively, but it was all based on the principle of an excuse to embarrass Alex.
Alex looking at the camera knowing Noel will have to eat the "exotic sandwich" is so wonderful. Great foreshadowing

Liza making Alex sit on a cake bare arsed is the single maddest bit of TV I've ever seen. Nothing will ever compare.
Even more baffling is the fact that she comes up with the idea so quickly and just runs with it, I could think for 10 years about how to show love and never come up with that.
I'm 999% convinced that she's been looking for an excuse to do that for _years_

Alex is a tremendous part of what makes the show. His deadpan delivery of some of the strangest sentences ever uttered by mankind is astounding.
Taskmaster would never be the same without him.
From the first time I saw him on 8/10 cats does countdown I have adored his straight man deadpan humor. He is a legend and a treasure. I can't imagine how he keeps a straight face through most of this. I love seeing him break and hide behind the clipboard

I’m not sure how many of Rhod’s task ideas are safe for CZcams’s new ‘kids safe’ policies, I seem to recall it all got a bit ‘welsh rugby club’ and I think Alex needed therapy afterwards. Heck, I think we all did.

@@Lumibear. i think that only applies to videos labeled as 'youtube kids' videos. thats a different category in youtube than normal videos. Also you can tell kids videos when you scroll down the comments will be disabled and there a little pop up thing that says try youtube kids

The Hot Toothpaste Pie is definitely the best one of all the series. The hesitation, the resentment, the commitment and the disgust are so good. Even the memory of it (back in the studio) was priceless.
I love the moments when you can see on Alex's face that he knows a task has backfired on him - like right before he had to bite into the hot toothpaste pie.
"Something sharp" is still the funniest line ever in the show
I still think that crown belongs to that faceless, nameless hero in the audience for their perfectly timed and sublimely pitched delivery of the word "booooooo!" during the "Wanguishing" bit. Absolutely destroys me every time I watch it. 🤣

Of all the stuff Alex has done I have never felt such revulsion as when he ate the toothpaste pie
To date, that is the first and only time I've physically gagged from seeing or hearing something. I have a pretty strong stomach even when it comes to eating weird stuff myself, but just watching him eat that almost make me puke.

Liza making Alex putting his arse in the cake is the one moment out of the whole show that made me cry with laughter, and I have never done that to a TV show or film before! The build up, the squeeze, and then Liza running away giggling as Alex is stood there dripping is comedy gold!
I think for me it's tied for number one cry-laughing moment, Bob Mortimer writhing under Alex while screaming in a Geordie accent "I'm a sinner! I've sinned again!" had me breaking down for days afterwards!
My entire torso hurt several times while watching that clip. My throat closed up, my stomach was trying to wring itself dry, and my lungs were trying to strain themselves through my ribs.

Sometimes i think I’ve seen it all when it comes to Alex Horne, but without fail a contestant ups the ante and makes him recreate his own birth, or makes him stick his ass out of a grotto while water shoots out of it. Such an evolution compared to the first few series

I don't think so, Alex was only supposed to be a part of the task later on, to do the untying. Rhod chose to unnecessarily use him before that. Same as Noel and his version of the exotic sandwich.

How could you leave out Rhod Gilbert's grotto task? That was hands down one of the funniest things to ever happen in the history of the world! Another one that should have been included was the one where they had to excite Alex. Rhod basically waterboarded Alex with a mixture of coffee and hot chocolate. Greg dubbed it "fairly structured torture".
The best water feature is missing (Rhod Gilbert's when the task was something completely different)

Same here - the thumbnail of Noel Fielding in a bright yellow jumpsuit tying bread to some poor man's head was too absurd to resist, and now I'm addicted.

Id never heard of ed gamble before seeing him on this show but he's one of my favourite contestants ever.... Oh wait, rhod Gilbert appears...
Meal with ingredients starting with all the letters of the alphabet (except x): two courses: a lasagna and an elaborate serving of pancakes for dessert.
For the lasagna, make a vegetable tomato sauce out of Oil, Carrots, Aubergine, Zucchini, Tomato, Salt, Pepper, Herbs, some Wine and a bit of Maple syrup. Slightly blend it and then add Quinoa pops for texture. Make what my mom taught me a bechamel is out of Unsalted butter, Flour and Vegetable stock (again salt and pepper). Layer the two sauces with Lasagna sheets and top with Gouda cheese and Basil (Basil only after baking).
For the pancakes make a patter out of Flour, Eggs, Yogurt and Salt, put Maple syrup and Rum in for flavour (there is no rising agent, make them very thin). Spread Nougat creme and Jam on the pancakes, top with sliced Kiwi and Dragon fruit and serve with Ice cream.
If you can think of anything that starts with an x, please tell me, but for half past 12 at night im pretty proud of this lol
