When the old Wembly Stadium was demolished, the rubble was taken to some undeveloped land just to the side of the A40 in West London. They piled up the rubble in 4 heaps, later they covered the 4 heaps with soil and grass seeds, then landscaped them. The hill that they had to put the 3 yoga balls on top of, is one of those heaps.
I think I remember someone saying that Alex has said he doesn’t want to do that because it might encourage people to act too stupid, to play up to the audience, and it wouldn’t be as natural. But bear in mind that this could very easily be not true, I just heard it
Yeah, none of the absolutely fantastic pure athletic things were in this one. Noel and Russell both had moments of total athletic ability. And I'd also call just chucking a javelin through the side of a caravan pretty damned athletic too.

Cannot believe Noel's epic whanging of a tiny cheese wheel with a broken snooker cue across a field isn't in here - as someone with almost no hand-eye coordination that was genuinely impressive to me.
3 exercise balls at the top of that hill has to be the best task ever. the humour of keeping the camera at the top and watching the balls slowly roll away was hilarious.
The ball task from season 2 was changed in Sweden in that the matt wasn't movable. However they had the shed so one guy cut the balls open. This was like Richard's attempt controversial to the group. At one point one person said "So if you'd cut open a puppy, is it still a puppy?" and he said something in style of "A dead puppy is the same as a deflated ball" and they argued the hell out of the task.
There's something sweet about how Rhod and Kerry want James' first attempt at the hula task to be taken. Like, even they can see how much he cares. Given Kerry used James in one of her tasks in Champion Of Champions 2, I reckon she must be friends with him now.
I think they should've included the time when Joe threw the potato in one shot and was a centimetre on the red green. I'm still upset they didn't give him the points for that!
It should have been the greatest achievement but Joe was robbed. That's the greatest sports travesty. Worse than the so called "hand of god" thing to be honest.
I've always thought you could have beaten the egg golf by just picking the egg up and placing it in each hole by hand. Because then you have zero shots, so in the calculation of "Shots x Eggs x Minutes" you'll have a 0 for shots, rendering the entire score 0 no matter what.
Weirdly the way to win the egg mini golf task was by not actually playing golf as you said. Like Roisin was the only one to not take any actual shots? She just gently swept the eggs with her club the entire way through, so Alex could only count each “shot” from the moment she stopped dragging it. So she had an insanely low number of shots x only 1 egg (since she never broke any) x a pretty fast time, and won as a result. I think Alex even realized that the way he calculated the score was insanely broken because everyone else racked up a golf score in the thousands
Desky!!! I think he was the most brilliant contestant. Bending all the rules. Was it him who disconnected the pipe to the shower to stop Alex from getting wet too? His brilliance only got topped by Sally's giving birth to Alex's video. That was second to none.
For the egg minigolf, none of the contestants worked out that if they didn't break any eggs, they could take as long as they liked and as many shots as they liked, and still get a zero score!

I'd have put the ball in the bag, chipped it into the air and overhead kicked it into the goal (right on the line of course, I'm no pro). None of them seemed to realise the ball was there.
