honestly fair enough. Planes weren't done right in this game

Boring. Same old infantry farming, with no opposing fighter and AA. Meanwhile as soon as I jumped into a plane to do a strafe 3 fliger salvo fly at me.
For me add aa camper 3or 4 fighters
The most satisfying thing about planes in bf5 is the boming retical I can get rid of an AA campers without even having to reach close by
I stopped playing in the end of November and haven’t touched it. I honestly have no urge to play it anymore. And I loved battlefield. I did recently started to play bf4 and it felt so much better!

I'm a decent pilot and I might have a crack at Silk to test myself but after that I'd just stay in my own air space and let him do his thing while I farm his infantry - he's the best pilot flying around in the Aussie servers - no need to piss him off and he hops into the dog fighting Zero and knocks out all my sides planes and pilots.
What Doug said tends to be true. Even when there is a good pilot on the other team they tend to give up after a death or two
People doesn't dog fight on Breaktrough. They are all just bombing the shit out of infantry and tanks.

He’s an excellent pilot, but it just seems like he’s given free roam in the majority of matches. Would be nice to some footage of some air fights from him.
Went from 200 points per game while being in the air the whole time to top of the leaderboard with +/-60 kills in two days. Never flew before. This mans settings are hard to get used to, but definitely the best. Went for my own sensitivity though, was to twitchy for me... only thing I changed was putting rolling to q and e for some maneuvers
The biggest challenge for me is spotting infantry as I engage from the sky. At 01:10 in this video, the infantry pops up as white spots! Is this some kind of hack or just a matter of settings?
I think those are birds flying, not infantry.
Love the sound of tanks exploding :-) Also love the sound of planes exploding when in first person :-)

I never understood how you got the enemy players turn white when you strafe, mine stay neutral and blend in to the surroundings so I barely see them at all.
Also; have you encountered Pilots with damage modifiers? Met an asian squad of three yesterday who legit 1 shot all the planes, great fun

I believe it's the mess setting as well. I use the same setting and depending on what height I'm at they turn white as well, as I get a cpl hundred above they change to normal colors. It's hard to throttle down my RTX card thou. But I can't get my frames so high like that either

I suggest to anyone running with Nvidia to go into their account, click on the BFV thumbnail and then run the optimum settings.
The fact that you can drop those bombs with THAT kind of "no effort needed" kind of accuracy is fucking broken. I'm glad I haven't played this now. lol

Is the glowing soldier thing soley a low mesh quality thing, or does disabling aniti-aliasing in the config help too?

Can confirm, it is the mesh quality. So just set it to low and your soldiers will glow.

@@lssccc6517 No matey - as Yam mentioned - go into your game settings and turn your 'mesh' settings to low. They glow while high up but when you start getting closer in a dive the glow disappears and the enemy becomes very hard to see.

Every time I try and go for big infantry kill streaks in a plane I get absolutely rushed by enemy fighters to the point where I cant stay alive. Only been successful recently flying the fighters so I actually have a chance of shooting them down, supercharger is a game changer

In Silks defense, infantry glow white til I get closer on my PS4. Idk why. Still all it takes is one decent pilot to stop him since sacrificing Engine Upgrade for Explosive Cannons is a huge disadvantage

Hi Silk just had a question I wanted to ask you. How do you fly the planes on BF5? When I play on console I usually just use both the thumb sticks but I'm trying to become a better pilot and wanted to know if you had any tips.

I don't like the pacific plane gameplay. the HE cannons don't feel rewarding at all.
The spitfire VB and bf109 g6 with the Minengeschoss feel way better to play. Also they should add the plane selection of bf1 so you can change your loadout before a plane is available. thanks for reading, keep up the great work :-)

I have the same setup as you but with maps such as Iwo Jima I really like to use those incendiary bombs for when they’re all crammed together on that tunnel entrance

you say this with such little understanding of the game. this bug happens to console players and literally anyone in between. It's not a result of my config file. I think due to my config file you can see them a little bit easier but the white effect is all ingame
I play on console and this happens to me, am I exploiting since I can't edit graphical settings?
I managed to get 155-0 with the A6M2 with the 4xlmg and 2x 532lbs bomb on breakthrough Iwo jima. But they did push us to the last sector
they need a way to limit airplane time, like after certain damage amount you can only heal up to 60%(wear and tear effect) and then after the pilot dies you are locked out of vehicles for 10 minutes so others can fly and there is less of those plane spammers.
The zero is definitely one of the best bombers ever I haven’t used all the planes so I’m trying to find a new alternative to beat the zero

It does this one console as well after the 5.0 or 5.2 patch. On the Xbox one x anyways. But only at a certain range. When closer to ground it doesn't highlight. But a good 200m out they're highlighted.

Hey i think you need to play as a soldier once in awhile.It will be more interesting to watch
DICE can't even be trusted to watch paint dry anymore. i mean just look at how easy the planes have become, you can literally slingshot your bombs at them and with the horrible net-code especially if they play out of region you get crazy amounts of dusting on the planes. on top of even if you try to use AA you are just a free kill with a small obstacle. i wonder how pilts ever managed to survive in game before BF1 with not auto-healing its almost baffling nowadays.
i mean even if you get shot down you will be back in a plane in a minute continuing to farm

@@florinvlad5637 No its like that on Xbox too. Whenever they did an update I can't remember which one, soldiers kinda glow when you are a certain distance away. You just gotta ADS in first person and you will see.
@@312lilcactis I did play couple of rounds in the plane and i couldnt see anything,ended up begging for flares because the visibility is so bad without spot..Im pretty sure you have to do something in order to glow like that

I never liked the pacific planes bcuz it feels like the ttk for those planes is lower than the others and the 2 added levels that to me make it harder to level up bcuz I’m not goof with planes but the ot r day when I gave them a chance I actually did a lot better and killed 10 enemy tanks and a few stray infantry and 3 planes which is probably my best with any plane at the moment

From the looks of it he has the 4x 20mm HE Cannons with the 2x 532 lbs bombs loadout equipped. So it should be Left-Left-Mid-Mid-Mid chain of the loadout tree, with either of the Left or Mid for the last upgrade depending on your preference.

Silk! I really really wanna use this loadout but enemy planes always stop me from using this loadout!! They always dogfight with us and force me using the 4x LMG instead of the explosive cannons :( How to deal with that...? Thanks!
You really cant do much if theenemy pilot is good at flying but a teammate does do the job

I still don't get their concept of having pacific plane bombs do so much more damage than that of the VA's or the BF's. They nerf those bombs but come out with these 🤔 #dicelogic
