    Back in the era, my neighbor traded in his 1978 Corvette on a Grand National. I still remember my shock when the tires broke loose as the boost came up. I had never experienced anything quite like that before, so much different from the instant torque of a big V8! Seemed totally futuristic to 15-year-old me.

    • @ruqwknf115
      @ruqwknf115 Před 2 lety

      All 86-87 Turbo Regals have oil leaks. Mainly due to the front and rear main seals being made of a rope material vs today's silicone rubber. And the red Brake light is likely from a low charge on the Powermaster's brake accumulator ball. Common issue and easy fix. R&R the ball, flush the old fluid and bleed the brakes. Very nice Turbo T for the asking price, especially for the condition and miles. I'd love to have it sitting beside my "87 GN.

In reality and timeslips, they actually made anywhere from 275 - 290 depending on the cold weather. But due to insurance reasons and Chevy's corporate cry babies, it was lowered.
