What a sweet car. White with burgundy velour lovely. This is a true sleeper. I have an 89 Turbo Trans Am with the 3.8 turbo with 8k original miles. These motors are monsters. This will sell fast.
You are so lucky. The ‘89 TTA is my dream car
It took me 20 years to get my friend to sell it to me. Definitely was worth the wait.
That's a great price with those miles! Damn, if I already didn't have a 87 GN I would be all over it. And yes Nick, those cars are FUN......
I had a 1979,81,88,91,98,2004,it's my favorite, the buick régal is one of the most beautiful American cars, confortable, reliable, powerful,at a reasonable price,i like this car.
One of my Dad's friends had the exact car back in the day, same color combo and all. He would always brag about never losing a race to anyone.
Back in the era, my neighbor traded in his 1978 Corvette on a Grand National. I still remember my shock when the tires broke loose as the boost came up. I had never experienced anything quite like that before, so much different from the instant torque of a big V8! Seemed totally futuristic to 15-year-old me.
That was my favorite part when I drove my uncles GN, and if you kept in it you could burn the tires all the way through second. Wish I had the cash because this thing is awesome.
Always wanted a white with grey interior turbo t. Had a grey one 20 years ago. Should have never sold it. Still have my 87 GN with 23k miles. The way they are appreciating, she’s a garage queen. Wish I had something I’d be willing to drive frequently
Seeing this video brought back so many great memories of my 87 T Type. Sadly, my baby was stolen many years ago. 😢 as I have said before, these hold a special place with me...
I remember when these cars first came out. For the time period they was the cats meow. Nothing would touch them not even a Corvette through the eighth .
Nice car at a good price. Market is skyrocketing on the Turbo Buicks. Power steering pump and Power Master brake system will need attention. Common issues with these cars.
Man you do an excellent job reviewing these cars. This one is so special! So much character. From my high school graduation year. Cars will never have such personality ever again.
Thank you
11:48 mark with the 2 gear launch was sick!! Thanks Nick for the small
tour of B.M.S. nice clean work place.
Very nice "87 Turbo T.
Worth every penny of your price. Especially in that condition.
Wow!
Cheap actually.
Man Nick that T-Type is sweet and definitely seems like there's no loss of power. Besides that oil underneath I would definitely drive this sleeper. Keep up the good work and great videos.
Yep, same here!
That takes me back to my high school days! Great Ride
I will buy my next car with you guys !!!
Amazing T Type. Always loved these cars. I had a new 1985 T Type in Double grey. Super Quick Nice ride. Love the video. When it's wet they definitely like to get loose.
Had to save this video! I’ll be a customer of you guys and by the looks of it… a customer of Brian too! Nice daily ride
This car does such a great job with these videos . I can’t wait till I can purchase me one of these toys from Maples 💪🏻🇺🇸
Thank you
WHOAAAAA Nick! Awesome ride buddy! I remember when these T types hit the road.
Great Looking 1987 Buick Regal With Turbo There My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors
Digging the taillights
Very nice! If I only lived closer ...I'm sure this one will sell fast.
Wow, that's a virtual twin to mine except for the W02 option (blacked out headlight bezels and grille.) Nice!
What a beauty n sweet ride nick it look good sitting in my driveway
Another beauty waiting to be snatch a great Christmas 🎄 present to be put together and turn it into a million bucks 👍 you have the greatest job in the world. ( great horn )
Oh, I kept thinking it was a T-Type. I think those came exclusively with digital dashboards.
Get in,and go anywhere ❤️ love the old school interior. Got potential to be a sweet ride, for real. Looks Slick in white. 👍🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🙏
Perfect beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
That’s what I call a sweet ride
Grand National is my dream car, but I'd take this.
Same as grand National just different color you can add spoiler and paint both bumpers white!
Love them buicks
Turbocharged buick, she moves fast wow wow absolutly like a podracer from mos eysley spaceport thanks Nick great car 🤟 😊 😊 😊 thanks
I need to probably buy this for myself . As a nice X mas I never get.😁
Seats 💺 look awesome 👌
This build is nice 👏🏾
Cool Regal, don't see many of those around anymore!
I had a chance to buy a turbo t-type 10yrs ago for $9000. I was being a cheap ass and I regret not buying it. If u guys have a chance to buy something you want go for it. Still amazes me how much they shot up in price.
That's definitely a fast GN! Very Nice!
It is a T type
Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee that car is fast 😳 😅
I used to own a '79 Regal with a 305 :)
These and GNs were the fastest American made cars in 86 & 87, in 0-60 times. Not sure about the 1/4 mile. Would love to have that, especially if it had t-tops.
QUESTION: timeframe 11.55 into your video you had a RED warning light come on. Please explain. Great car! lots of power.. Thanks for the videos.
I LOVE ALL THOSE NICE RARE CARS 🚗AND TRUCKS 🚚
Thank you
That won't be for sale long! Very nice T Type Nick.
Love that car !
Wait a second, is that a 76 TRAMS AM I see in the background?!?!?!
I heard that! Nice ride
Really nice T-Type. Love these cars. Love the shout out to God too! God bless
Man Nick looks different with a full beard.
Love this sleeper turbo regal I like these a little more than the grand national its not your grandmother's buick
Trunk is missing SPID label, no way to check original LC2 option, posi, etc.
Neat G body style of car.
To honored to be the first comment! Love the show watch weekly keep up the great videos my 86 Monte looks just like what you posted .
Thank you
buick turbo cars decimated all cars in the 80s on the dragstrip
Just to show I am not all negative. This car presents well, gives you the GNX feel without the cost of entry. Other than the blower motor, most of the issue are cosmetic or minor. If I had the funds, this would on the check it out list.
I don't know about GNX feel.... Maybe just GN feel. :-)
That's a beauty
Always wanted a white one.
These are some of the cars that people actually came out with the saying G body shuffle 😂
You're right way too fast hold on I'll be right there
Gee. That's a nice G, G.
Not the GNX, but still a very similar nice car.
This car is on my wish list that I would buy. Love Buicks.. I don't need to see the walk around. I'll take it.
But there is a lot of oil spillage underneath.
They are great cars. What is that box on the dash?
It's called a scanmaster. Pretty much every Turbo Buick has one now-a-days. GREAT scan tool to help keep your TR running well.
@@ct87gn25 cool. Thank you. Never saw one before.
👍
I Like 1987 Buick Regal Turbo Very Fast Modern Muscle Car 80s And Early 90s High Performance ☺
Hold on, let me sell a kidney real quick so I can buy this thing. it's super nice and a great price! It is probably already gone by the time I post this.
Brake light is probably the power master brake booster getting ready to go out I have a 87 Grand national and mine went out right after I got it get something and draw all the fluid out of master cylinder and put new clean fluid in it it gets dirty and ruins the system , Just letting you know a new power master runs around 1000 bucks I think maybe more !
Vacuums conversions are the way to go, we have done two personal GNs and it seems to be better.
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate Ya I have done vacuum to mine as well only thing I don't like about that is Turbo Buicks don't make vacuum under boost of turbo that is why buick did not do them that way from factory , I understand why it is a simple fix but I plan on changing mine ,not saying anything bad just making conversation buddy
What's the difference between this and the GN?
That's a dandy Nick
At Regal's got a oil leak beautiful car
All 86-87 Turbo Regals have oil leaks. Mainly due to the front and rear main seals being made of a rope material vs today's silicone rubber. And the red Brake light is likely from a low charge on the Powermaster's brake accumulator ball. Common issue and easy fix. R&R the ball, flush the old fluid and bleed the brakes. Very nice Turbo T for the asking price, especially for the condition and miles. I'd love to have it sitting beside my "87 GN.
A Grand National in disguise. Could of had one a few years back for 12k with 66K miles.
Damn Paul, should have bought it. That $12K investment would be worth triple that today. Getting harder and harder to find a clean GN for under $30k....
@@ct87gn25 still kicking myself in the ass for not jumping on it, was spotless, the interior looked new. That GN “swoosh” symbol was hypnotizing, I used to admire it. I was a messenger in high school and early college, and would go to the GM building in Manhattan, on 57th Street, and they had a GN and Firebird in the lobby, and got into trouble when I opened the door and tried to sit in the GN.
T-Type, rarer than a Grand National
One day....one day, this or a grand national
😱😍🔥
Did the turbo boost gauge work?
Check the video at the 11:50-57 mark on the video. It's orange and it lights up under the green rpm gauge.
I want to buy a G Body so bad!
I like that tune my musician brother you're bad To the bone getting married this weekend all the musician brothers are coming over we're playing baby
I'd take this ovet a GN anytime.
G body, Loveliness. Bella.
10:52 How much KR was that?
Looks like a Monte Carlo
Probably hydroboost leaking. It's a pretty common issue .
Was this sold to Shawn from Street outlaws
Is it a radar detector on the dash?
It's a Scan Master! It's a must have for these cars. It reads the cars computer and allows the driver to switch through the vehicles different diagnostic settings.
231 was a good V6
Am interested in car.But dont know about the brake booster ok .Ill check your optionsan shipp etc before I call.
When you did the drive over the camera it looked like a huge oily wet spot about midway….
I saw that too. Dang.
The boost on these cars push oil out of the valve cover gaskets and rear main seal, it's a common problem. Easly fixed.....
Not trying to be a rock in the shoe but have always heard the bottom end on the 3.8s is prone to failure especially with boost and miles. Any truth to that statement?
8 Days Two Late👀
I had one
How much hp these have?
In "87, the LC2 was rated at 245 hp and 355 tq. 5 more than the highest level L98 Corvette from that year. In reality and timeslips, they actually made anywhere from 275 - 290 depending on the cold weather. But due to insurance reasons and Chevy's corporate cry babies, it was lowered. Nothing was supposed to be higher than the Corvette. Yeah, we all know how that turned out.
Grand national is fun till they break down.gets expensive.then....it turns into grand pa.
Channels a low rent curious cars
77000 ....HMMMM.....NOPE
I say 15k n I’d be heading down there with a trailer
Sorry we don’t have much of a markup and we paid much more than that. Thanks for watching
