- Today on Eating with Robert, I head to Chinatown and K-Town to taste one of the most popular, comforting Chinese dishes: Zha Jiang Mian. This dish has made its way around the world, but in Korea it has evolved into something completely new yet familiar: Jajangmyeon. Thanks to Shanghai Asian Cuisine and Hyo Dong Gak for having me, trying these dishes was a treat. More from Rob Martinez:

I really thought you had 997, 000 Subs when I first glanced. The quality and content of the vids are so good . Not only til I looked at the view count did I focus on the actual sub count. Good video ! I'm going to wash more.
Aw man, thanks so much. I’m hoping to get to 1000 today 🙃
👍👍 if you're open to suggestion-- mix it more 👍👍
Hey man. Love your thoughts on the crazy times, be great to one another love all, especially to Asians that are experiencing hate in our society. ☮️
Hi rob, thank you so much for your video which is the perfect feedback I needed from someone who tried both versions. Went to my Asian store today here in Barcelona and I only found sweet flour sauce (for zha jiang mian) to make the Chinese version. Still did not find the Korean black bean paste for jjajamgmyeon.. Subscribed and no more beer for you 🥴😂😂
Hahaha 😂 There is more beer to come sorry. Glad you found the video helpful!!
Looks great! Keep up the videos! Where else are you going?
sorry for the late reply - next episodes are in Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Then I have a couple of feelers out in Jersey City, Port Chester NY and Ridgewood Queens.
Korean version tastes better to me and i'm not even being biased. Had both versions and the Korean version tasted better
