As much as I appreciated the size of the Celestials in Eternals- I feel like Eson’s size here is more comic accurate AND works better for future narratives. Arishem (and Tiamut) is actually TOO big in my opinion. Hard to have meaningful character interactions/fights with something that is planetary in size.
I think they can change their Size what they want it to be so they could solve that problem like that
@@yuspl4ys949
They 100% can change their size, but ultimately each of them will have a “standard size”. If Eson wanted to wipe out that planet, why would he have shrunk? It kind of feels like that’s Eson’s “standard size”, the same way that Arishem and Tiamut had their standard sizes shown.
Ultimately it’s not that big of a deal though. I’m just happy they are full on committing to the ridiculous power and size scales we see in comics.
@@jessossenkopp Perhaps in the case of Eson the population on that planet had stagnated his goal was only to wipe out life or a specific life form and not destroy the entire planet, rather than in Eternals where we are talking about the end goal of birthing celestials once there is enough intelligent life.
They probably took a chicken's egg n chick size ratio and applied it here.
@@jessossenkopp well Eson's title is the Searcher, right? Maybe he's been tasked to look for the infinity stones and to use them for wiping out planets instead of their other methods. Good point 👍
If that planet is 100× bigger in diameter, it will turn to a star. Jupiter is already really big for a planet, few more diameter and it will turn to a dwarf star. May be the eternals of there planet did the same thing as Earth's but their memories didn't reflected that they were worthy and this was The Judgement, Arhishem was talking about.
This raises loads of questions though. If Arishem used Eson to eliminate all worlds Arishem deemed not worthy, then that raises the question of wether it’ll be Eson that’ll be sent to earth to do the job? But without the power stone, how would he come to do it though? Heck, how did he even lose it in the first place? Or was he killed by some other cosmic entity? Which would explain why the stone was lost (first one that comes to mind is Knull as a potential suspect, as he already has a history of slaying Celestials), andwould explain how it came into the possession of the inhabitants of Morag.
Just shows how much history there could be involved in just one infinity stone.
@@lochness5524 This comment is not really important so, it's a little long if you want to read it.
Celestials can create sun so you can assume there would be no problem with the destruction of planets without the power stone.
