- Something a bit different
Been going over all my song archives lately
This is from the winter last year at Soggy Bottom community garden when we wassailed the apple trees and sat round the fire singing.
It may have even been the year before!! Who knows?
Singing one of my favourite songs with Magic Sam playing guitar
I'm a folk singer based in Nottingham, England and also sometimes known as The Bread Witch for my Community Bread Baking project 🍞🥖

There is something about cooking, drinking, music, songs, stories and dancing that just fits perfectly together with a bonfire, be it large or small. Our family and friends never pass up an excuse for such occasions and the memories live on forever.
I do love a good fire
nothing like a camp fire
So true 🙏
This is really beautiful well done
Thanks
Another lovely upload! Nothing like an evening round a fire😊
Too right!
And thank you
lovely
Thanks
Song of the lower classes (or Song of the low) is attributed to Ernest C Jones 1851. There is also a lovely video posted last year of you doing this in a field of cereal. Very nice! 😊
That’s right. You can find the speech on CZcams actually. Oh yeah. There’s another version of me singing it with my ferrets too 😱😅
@@EatBakeSing And not forgetting the version on your excellent CD - which I believe is now sold out ( hence becoming elevated to collectors item eh?)
You’re a female version of John tams.xx🐝🐝
Ah thanks so much!. That means a lot. He’s from up Derbyshire so not that far away and I loved his songs in Sharpe. Once saw him live years ago in Chesterfield I think it was. Have you ever seen him?
