If we can keep Russia in the Ukraine conflict for all of 2024 NK will have to wait.

Let's just be honest here, there's no way that North Korea can continue a war, sure he could start a war, but the country is so extremely poor that he couldn't finish or win a war. It's just impossible for Kim.
They poor at all drugs human trafficking counterfeit money look what the 🇻🇳 did to the USA with little to nothing they had much less than NK
Chinese and Russian support.
I think Russia is a bit preoccupied at the moment and China doesn’t want to rock the boat over something that isn’t even in their interest.
NK have almost a hundred of nukes. 1 modern day nuke can make a thousand times of damage of hiroshima nuke.
And 50%(25 millon) of South Koreans live in a densely populated small city of Seoul(Capital). Just imagine how much damage NK can do just by targeting Seoul. So NK will win the war due to Nuclear capabilities.
And US won't take the risk of sacrificing their cities, economy, families and children for a small foreign country like Korea. Don't think US would do such sacrifice after seeing what NK did to SK cities. So US won't intervene.
My grandpa told me that if the USA allows North Korea get a weapon of mass destruction that he would use it against us because of the way the USA did them in the Korean war.😢
Your grandpa know more than anyone ...
Highly highly doubtful
He wouldn't get it halfway to Hawaii before it was shot down and north Korea would be a hole in the ground.

The United States has several nuclear submarines parked outside of North Korea.
And each sub has many nukes on board.

Uh... North Korea doesn't need ICBM's to drop nukes on South Korea. You realise they're like... right next to each other? Not... continents apart? The clue is in the name.
it's all about the us he's threatened to nuke the west coast of the us multiple times his mindset is if the us comes to South Korean aid will tue us be willing to sacrifice the west coast to help south Korea
Kim still would like why wouldn’t he?
Honestly, the distance between Pyongyang and the DMZ is just over 150 kilometers, but the possibility of KJU not stupid use of nuclear warheads in the narrow central part of the Korean Peninsula, or in the southern part of the country, which could also affect Japan, would converge to zero if he had at least no learning and mental insanity. Why have they kept focusing on ICBMs or nuclear development over the past 3 decades and repeated launches? even if they're targeting close by during the world war lll, or in their really last moments, they're going to be targeting the at least in Yokohama or Tokyo, or long distances standard is US mainland.
The clue is in the name but this guy totally missed it lmfao
ICBM “intercontinental” ballistic missile 😂😂😂😂😂😂
kim really thinks he's him
Couldn't North Korea annihilate Seoul basically any time they want due to its close proximity? Yet this never happened.
They’ve already got a couple dozen artillery pieces pointed at them
Tru they did shell an island recently
They had an agreement years ago. And now that agreement is being amended by North Korea. Which will remove any chances of that agreement to succeed (peaceful unity of Korea).
Read some history before making stupid comments such as this.
Considering the famine and the extreme lack of basic supplies (i.e. rations and basic supplies for troops) and thier poor economy and poverty I only see Kim Jong Un only being able to start a war, not being able to contend with or be able to finish it.
My point in summary: North Korea's only two strategic advantages is its aging stockpile of artillery and WMDs aside from that there is no way they can actively field a war, they can only try and force other nations to the negotiating table by holding Seoul hostage.
Which might not last long?
And soldiers who are malnourished hungry with compromised health cannot fight effectively. The US, NATO and Australian military personnel will be very well fed with good clothing, fit for the purpose.
only thing i can see to combat that, is russia, and china would give food, and clothing. however, they havent fought in anything for like 70 years. theyd get wiped if we went boots on the ground.
It would require a huge cost and it's really still up to China. China is the one that actually won that war (not that you would ever hear that in n. Korea) and it was their involvement that brought about the 38th parallel dividing line. As long as the little dictator can rule and is safe in his little country, we are safe.
NK would get pushed back so far North they would have no land left
Given the abysmal poverty of NK's people, one has to wonder how NK is able to finance and build the massive military-industrial-technical-scientific base that it apparently has.
mostly through cyber-hacking & now selling arms to Russia
They have a warehouse that does nothing but mine bitcoin.
I wondered the same thing. It's amazing how dictators just can't leave anyone else alone.
Blackmarket enterprises
@@streetwatcher_ Enough to make nukes? They are making billions in the black market?
And everyone says China's economy is going to collapse.. Tell that to them. All they do is make fighter jets, missiles, ships ECT..
You guys do realize that North and South Korea have been at war since June 25, 1950. The "end" of the war was just the end of the active-fighting. There was no formal peace-treaty, just a cease-fire.
So the war has been on-going for the past 74 years, the two have been hostile since their inception. The NK military doesn't have the capability to engage and defeat the SK military. Even with the nukes the north has, they would still get crushed. They don't have a lot of options to deliver a nuke. An air-dropped weapon would likely not get far against the air-defence of the south. Putting a warhead on a missile is much harder than most people think. A warhead has to be miniaturized, hardened against vibration, and protected against re-entry. All of which present their own challenges. The first successful ICBMs in the US & USSR were being tested and operational in 1959-60, over a decade after developing air-dropped weapons. The US & USSR had vastly greater resources to commit to these projects than NK could dream of having.
Everyone forgets that

I don't take Kim too seriously. I doubt he even want a war. I don't know though, Kim isn't known to be a stable guy. He's really unstable, so i don't know. Maybe he wants war, maybe he doesn't want war, only Kim knows
He is like a child with a new toy... his toy is nukes and he is wanting to show them off in the worst way.
One thing that scares me is every war break in out in the world. Will North Korea join Iran in distracting the us from war in Russia? It’s a possibility everyone should consider
North Korea cant beat USA USA won more wars
He just doesn’t want to be the reason for the cause of the war
This is and never was about foreign policy, but about internal politics. Kim must control his own people, and for that, he must show an outside enemy to show himself as the only one who can save his country. The reason he has been provoking is that his power inside his country is becoming less stable and is shown in increased provocations. This trend only stopped during Trump administration, when Trump provided him prestige through negotiations.
I know this is all speculation, but i may need to stop watching these videos. There are things i cannot control and knowing that may be better. Not denial or events, not forgetting them-just not inflaming my mind to the point it affects me personally or professionally.
without war, dictators can't stay in power.
It's easier to blame an ennemy that letting people blame the leadership.
Up to now, it has been considered that a full-scale attack by N. Korea on the South would be horrific for both sides, and one of the results would be the end of the Kim dynasty. So, assuming Kim Jong Un is not suicidal, he must obtain the backing of China. Russia didn't get those million artillery shells for nothing, and probably gave Kim technology. But Russia is not really in a position to back Kim up militarily. China is more in such a position, but it probably doesn't want a full-scale war with nuclear weapons right next door. So superficially, it would appear unlikely that Kim decides to go to war.
But: if he co-ordinates his attack with Putin making some simultaneous attack in E. Europe, he may think he's got a chance, and maybe would force China's hand to get involved with a "fait accompli" of war on its border that it needs to do something about. A highly risky gamble, but so was Pearl Harbor - the Japanese went ahead anyway.
If China were to get involved it might help to keep the US and allies back but I think they might occupy and replace Kim so they don’t have to deal with this nonsense anytime soon
It would even take much more than that. NK having any chance of seeing a war through depends on China stirring up trouble with Taiwan _and__ Japan, Russia invading in Europe and all of that in a surprise attack no one sees coming. That is essentially impossible to pull off, you cannot conceal troop movements of that scale; Russia was amassing forces on the border of Ukraine for more than a year before the eventual invasion, and it would need much more to make a dent when it comes to NATO territory. China likewise cannot go for Taiwan undetected, it would be signalling that amphibious operation months in advance. NK is the only one that this scenario hinges upon that can actually 'hide' forces before such an invasion, but then again, NK going it alone may start the war, but cannot see it through.
Okay, I'm pretty scared about this. I really don't want a war.
Pyongyang is a fun word to say
Pee on Yang?
It's certainly the bounciest capital I can think of.
7:10 to be fair, wtf does the US have to say about how its 'so super illegal' to do what they do
N. Korea has been trading food for weapons with Russia, I'm sure Russian investors could make changes in the country if they become trade partners
Is it also the year NK goes extinct? 😂
Chocolate, whiskey, steaks, butter, fresh fruits, Spam, bomb, bullets, coffee, beer, smokes, Nukes, rump roast, pork barbecue, and toilet paper. That’s how wars are somehow won.
2024 is gonna be a fun year!!
10:54.Got tongue tied didn't you?
That title is brave. The video would age bad in less than 12 months
The people at the country side are starving, how can he win a war like that?
This could potentially be bad. Two things are needed to ensure South Korea's safety.
1. A strong military presence capable of matching North Korea's might blow for blow.
2. Active US participation which will certainly take the nuclear option off the table for North Korea.
I believe that any US intervention will lead to a peace deal probably with China arguing on behalf of pyonyang. Of course any deal that could lead to peace would be less than favorable to Kim as he would not be conquering the south. At the same time I do not see the possibility of North Korea being overtaken by the South as any Chinese intervention would lead to an abrupt halt in progress. The only chance of reunification involves a southern victory which requires for China to remain neutral ( unlikely ) and US intervention which adds a powerful ally for South Korea and a deterrence to any use of nuclear weapons. I really don't see an active conflict sparking at this time however. No matter how much saber rattling there is.
No king wants to lose his little hill....this is what he would give up if he did attack
How is signing a defensive treaty is fueling the tensions?
Use logic bro.. against who?
@simon5887 defensive is not threatening anybody. If your country is known for bullying others, then don't complain when the rest join together to defend themselves
@@Jenuelr well Ukraine is a good example of that. You see what happened to it?. France and US are being kicked out of West Africa. Soon the middle East is getting tagged against US.
All Nuclear weapons are destined to go the same as Block Buster video. When there is no demand = they stop selling.
Trump used to call Kim: Rocketman
I think the US should give up some of its sanctions against North Korea. That would avoid a conflict, I think.
Only half of his artillery shells works as expected in Russian army. Not a good sign.
I mean... this is comparable to a group of ultra hungry preschoolers trying to fight some college football players.
Sounding like Tim pool with all the fear mongering
We forget that china isn’t stupid. ping wouldn’t let Rocket man do something so rash.
He wouldn’t be able to stop them unless he knew well in advance. China may have to clean up the mess by occupying NK and deposing Kim
Doubt it
I can’t believe it’s 2024 and NK is still the way it is… youd think he’d wanna be peaceful and get along and watch his people thrive. I wish the big 4 could come together and all its diversity and sit him down and try.
I'm more concerned about Kim going suicidal, if he gets cornered. All he has to do to survive, is keep his cool. The United States and NATO are not going to attack North Korea, unless they have to.
While he has large amount of artillery and missiles, reports show that he doesn’t even oil to supply his tanks during exercises. How useless of an army is that.
I feel like all their weaponry will go to russia in 2024. That and if NK goes for SK the soldiers would know how well the normal countries live. The last thing as a dictator, I would not want them to see the outside world, war or not.
They already started!!😮
What will happen?
one can say that times and conditions are different, but the fact remains: only one nation has ever used nuclear weapons in hostility. it was also a first strike. that nation is the USA.

Probably has a plan. And the fact cyber actions are announced, mean it’s been happening.
How does an isolated tiny country like NK able to pay for all these arm development? I thought this country was broke!!
like the US Industrial Military Complex is not? Id f the US develope most advance waepons what good is it if they are not be to used. One of retired Lieutenant Colonel stated that IMC is a merchant of death. isx that true?
With the United States weaker than ever and anything being possible combined with a mentally unstable country like NK, I could see this but really as a distraction so China can take Taiwan.
So this would be a significant catalyst.
I disagree?!
In terms of weakness, it is important to first determine the political party, and leadership in US in question. By doing so, it'll help us to identify the course of actions, and degree of involvement of US in the global affairs, via the various aspects.
Here's why:
Democractic Party (globalist): More global involvement -> more diplomacy (in terms of negotiations, and deals) -> more red lines -> more indirect actions (in terms of sanctions, and airstrikes)
But, since there''ll be:
< direct actions -> viewed as weak or unstable -> < support for US (except their usual allies) > more provocative actions from rogue states (i.e. Iran) - and the cycle goes on, and on again ...
Compared to that:
Republican Party (isolationist): vice versa.
Next, the issue of DPRK. In terms of DPRK the likelihood, and nature of the military confrontation are minimal, and that is subjected to the decisions of both Russia, and China (primarily, since they're the largest contributor of both (non-)necessity), and are their largest trading partner). Because, the launch of (possible) military actions against the South Korea or US, if any, will not only spell the end to the Kim dynasty, in which its survival is always the utmost importance to them, and will likely to invite (possible) regime change directly from the Russian or Chinese if without their permission (but the same thing will occur if the current Kim regime is of no use/ too unstable for them).
Lastly, the invasion of Taiwan. Even if there'll be an invasion of Taiwan, the likelihood of it is somewhat minimal, and that is subjected to the Chinese leadership, and internal affairs of China. Despite that, the invasion will (still) occur if the Chinese want to distract the domestic population, and strengthen the CCP at a time of crisis. Instead, the likelihood, and location of an attack by the Chinese will, I believe, either be at: India-Chinese border, South China Sea, or the Vietnamese-Chinese border.
The United States isn’t weak. Why do you think the US is weak
All the more reason to keep sending supplies to the Ukraine. As long as Russia keeps fighting the Ukrainians NK can't launch its war and can't be a diversion for China to take Taiwan. The Ukraine-Russia fight is the pin in the grenade and if it disappears America will see war.
@@0934charlieThe US isn't weak, but our president is.

Ok, most of that shit about hypersonic missiles was incorrect. ALL exo-atomsphereic ballistic missiles are hypersonic. ALL OF THEM, all the way back to the German V2s in WW2. So it's an empty threat. The real technology changer is if you could make a cruise missile as a hypersonic missile. Being able maneuver in air is the tricky part. NO ONE has one of those yet.
