Great work! up there with the best movie analysts on youtube. Hopefully the algorithm starts pushing your videos towards more people (I personally came from the Tin Tin video, also being a massive fan of it and not understanding why it fell by the wayside?)
Part 1 seems to have been taken down. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and blame overzealous use of a DMCA... Watched it anyway though - it was great! I especially agree with your final point: just write/make the best product you can rather than try to predict/pander to an audience.
Walt Disney said that people would ask for more Mickey Mouse in cartoons he wouldn't have made since in. They'd say, "Where is Mickey Mouse? Give us more mice." The same with the 3 little pigs, and the dwarfs in Snow White. The people don't know what they really want until it's presented to them, a lot of the time.
