I was thinking of some spicy tech with the cyberstorm access cards. Fusion duplication seems to be a really powerful card with despia branded deck. Not only copying branded fusion during the opponent's turn, there is a powerful lock with it as well.
With instant fusion, you can copy it's effect in the gy with fusion duplication and summon winda to gate them. At end phase, you get rid of it from instant fusions condition. I think it's an easier branded expulsion substitute, while fusion duplication having several setups.

I mean its one of if not the neat win condition for the deck so y not abuse it until konami bans it? I mean apparently branded guys like to fight a uphill battle or dpesnf like to win. And no I'm defending the lock cause i cant play the deck but if it gives you a win in whichever game, y not play it?
@@user-qf6ie3rd7i A lot of times, if they stop the lock, you have no other interruptions. So it's a matter of risk vs. reward. I think it's definitely worth siding the puppet for when you're going first, at least.
Actually Expulsion is good for Anti Evenly but yeah people just use it for lock
This a nice video just for all the many ideas to playing this deck. Right now, there are some really amazing lines in running this deck since it has like so much support to choose from.
Your videos are just fantastic, very precise and detailed. By any chance you have these combos written and explained? I love the videos and would love to read the combos in details it’s because I take awhile to absorb information
Interesting stuff here, and I'm definitely going to be using some of this myself.
A note on Nadir: It's a lot better if you run the new Albion, since the new Albion can allow you to get more or less your entire combo on your opponent's turn. As an example line, Nadir > send Lulu, search Albaz > end phase Lulu summons Cartesia > opponent's main > Cartesia + Albaz into New Albion > effect to summon both back > Albaz + Cartesia into orange Albion > Albion effect into Mirrorjade.
Yeah that’s a really nice line that I like with Nadir, getting 2 interruptions rather than just mirrorjade if you’re fusing with Opponent’s ED monster!
It also provides the option to play something like Ntss as an out to floodgates like Grave depending on how people start teching vs Branded, so I’m excited to see how the deck evolves!
new albion is also an out to evenly which is one of the if not the only out (if puppet gets banned) to our full board

Suggestion: Five-Rainbow magician in the side deck against superheavy samurai, you can dump off branded fusion, set something and make it live, also is a free discard or fusion fodder.
I was considering 1 in the side, but it meant resolving branded fusion already so I wasn't sure if it was win-more or not haha - Definitely worth playing around with!

I love Branded, thanks for this great video! I didn't have an overview of the new cards, so this video really helped me.
I have really been liking a bystial build of this deck, lubellion by itself can out bagooska or other problem monsters. You also get to set up an on field rindbrum a lot more as an additional form of interaction, and Etude being live also feels really good. The deck isn't solved by any means and exited to see where it goes!
Last I checked Lubellion by itself does not out bagooska lol

@@metinkartop2898 That is only true if you have a way to get a dark or a light in GY for the Druis to summon, but that would work like you say if you or the opponent has veilered or ogred or similar!

Sanctifire is really good and gives the deck a lot of options to adapt it’s playstyle depending on how the format evolves, I’m just waiting to see where the format goes before finding the space for it!

Opening in DP already plays around veiler, but yeah Imperm would hurt more than Droll there!

@@FaboBabo96 Masquerade isn’t really needed anymore since it doesn’t achieve a whole lot compared to other options and Sanctifire is really good, especially if you play Nadir, I just haven’t found the room for it yet haha

I really want to play this in Master Duel when the beastialsware released. I’ve found branded to be boring in MD since it feels very linear. The annoying thing is dragoon is banned and I love the keeper line. Cheers Revs!
Dragoon isnt 100% necessary it's just very powerful card the deck can make, going into mirrojade and setting up dragostapelia and/or the lines with cartesia is almost always stronger, but I'm not sure which cards get released in which order on MD.
Keeper line is useless cause instant fusion is banned in master duel

@revzCards Hi, I dont get the steps with Granguignol. Could you explain why you Special summon Despian Wululilith from Extra Deck by banishing Granguignol even your opponent didnt Special summon somthing by monster efects? Or did u do it for interruption?

It’s an unsearchable card that doesn’t have much benefit on it’s own compared to other generic cards you’d rather put in it’s spot, but it’s funny haha

Stupid question but I have to ask this: I was going first, used Albions Effect from grave to add Branded Opening to my hand and wanted to use it so I could SS Quem but it didnt work! It just added Branded Opening to my hand and then my turn immediately ended!

hey revz here is my two cents on this build after testing for a while myself with something similar
the deck functions well as it usually does but this coming format with stuff like ogre and droll coming in hard it makes it so very difficult to resolve the entire combo going through keeper or ambulance since drooling keeper if you add instant literally ends the entire combo
in such a ht heavy format I think you should consider steering towards the more normalized build (still with crossout IMO its better than nadir) testing this a ton against mirror and more stuff like mathmech and superheavy and kash this version of the deck just loses hard against the stuff that's going to be prevalent this format

Can you actually activate card effects during your draw phase right from the start of the match or is that only if you are the second to go? With opening and aluber activating during draw phase seems a bit too meta to be possible less you’re second to go. Is this really possible on being first to go? I never knew
You can activate spell speed 2 effects in every phase
This might be a silly question as I’m still fairly new to all this but can opponent Droll when Tragedy adds Quem to hand during the “Opening Combo”
They can, but that is the only search in the combo so it doesn’t stop anything :)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the first combo, because you’re summoning granguignol while under branded lost, would it not make sense to chain link 1 lost chain link 2 granguignol? Branded Lost says “also your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when a monster is fusion summoned this way”. Because you used Cartesia to fusion into granguignol, granguignols send a card to the grave effect should in theory be non ashable, right?
As long as your effect to fusion summon is Chain Link 1, on the summon of the monster it doesn’t matter what order the chain links are as you’re opponent can’t respond at all
so, does using the extra deck normally trigger Lulu, as in fusion or syncro plays? I know it may seem like a dumb question, but I've learned that some wording can make things more confusing than they need to be.
yes it does, it also triggers if a pend monster that was face up in the extra deck is summoned from the ED

Do you just follow the before-CYAC line ?
Depending on the rest of your hand, best option would probably be discard it for the combo and set Branded in Red off Albion for a Chimera/Mercourier play instead

@@aerialjohn8631 If you have another monster in hand you don’t have to use the Quem, but you should be winning with Dragoon/Mirrorjade/Chimera/Mercourier/Lulu setup anyway unless opp has a god hand with talents lol

Revz I do have a question about Santa claws the card states that You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If Summoned this way, during the End Phase of this turn: You can draw 1 card., but does that mean I draw the card or my opponent? I keep hearing the the opponents draws the card so I am confused as hell
The opponent draws, but if it leaves the field, noone draws :P
So follow up question and I am srry for asking so many questions so what benefit de we gain by playing it as branded players if the opponent draws card besides special summoning to the opponents field as to put a card
@@sakirisdiaz7761 You use it to tribute Purrely Noir, Iblee, Testudo Erat Numen, Ariseheart etc etc. then kill it in battle phase so opponent doesn’t draw

If you’re referring to Nadir servant, I included a section for it at the end! After CYAC you don’t need to bother with Kitt & high spirits which makes it better!
@@RevzCards He is refering to a combo, where, after you get ashed, dump sprind with nadir and add Albaz. In End-Phase you can summon Kitt, which seaches branded in high, which you can activate in end to dump albaz from hand, albion from extra and add mercourier. Then albion triggers which sets branded in red and you can get to mirrorjade that way. It's a light improvement to other combo because, because of the mercourier in hand.

When do you use Millennium Eyes?
You mainly use it if you already have branded fusion in hand or another way to get to it if you know your opponent is on ash, or you could just summon millennium eyes if you want it as an interruption on your opponents turn by protecting it with opening in your end phase turn 1. Hope I helped a bit Even though this was a couple months ago
While Keeper gives a higher power ceiling the reliance to protect him plus the discaard is too much, he resolved one time for me in 7 rounds
He doesn't need to resolve to win you the game - if he eats the interruption & you don't have Deployment/Crossout, you're free to go Opening/Branfu and build your board. If you don't have any of those, you were already losing to 1 interruption anyway haha

@esploratoredelvuoto9204 any reason why? My understanding is if a card says "when" it needs to be activated in direct response to the card which activating Cartesias eff as chainlink 2 would stop that?
@@deanpunshon3505 Ash is a trigger effect, cartesia is a quick effect. Chain blocking refers to chaining your own trigger effects in a way, you 'block' a specific response from your opponent. If you activate branded fusion, your opponent has a chance to respond with a trigger like ash, before you can activate quick effects like cartesia. Look up the fast effect chart if you want more explanations :)

Bystials will be good in this deck only if you make the decision to run Etude of The Branded. Also, this is just my opinion but as long as Kashtira is in the Format I will continue with 3 Albaz. And Runick is still a thing so if the 2 get banished then you are screwed. Other than that, I want to try this list, very spicy
I also noticed you are not playing Albion the Shrouded or Branded Retribution? What are your thoughts on cutting those?

@@deanpunshon3505 that’s not why you can use it as face down material, also once a card is face down it is no longer public knowledge. A general feature of the fusion mechanic is that it has always been allowed to use face-down materials as opposed to any of the other extra deck summoning methods. This includes “contact fusions” with stuff like ABC and Cyber dragon monsters

In a vacuum, where you’re always losing to 1 interruption, sure the cost is objectively worse.
Resolving the combo, you’re discard for Keeper is offset by the discard for Lubellion when making an Aluber play and the end board is wayy better than what you’d get from just Aluber
With the rest of the deck in consideration, Keeper as the normal forces an interaction from the opponent and you have more cards in your deck that would then allow you to play through it.
Example if you stop aluber, you can’t Opening for another aluber, but if you stop keeper, you can still opening for aluber
Ofc it’s still just my opinion though haha
So droll+nib equals loss with the 1st combo
With Droll you'd just set Opening in EP and still have Mercourier + Banish + Bounce, through Nib you'd set Opening for Quem and use her to make an Albaz play or just reborn MJade assuming your opp can't just remove her without the Extra Deck

Because it's level 6 so it's also an out to Iblee being a 1 tribute

I don't really like the keeper lines. that adds hard bricks to the deck and it makes the deck space not have that much room for hand traps or going second cards and it doesn't play well going into a Purrely or kash board. I don't understand the santa claus in the side deck. I get it it's a Kaiju that gets summoned in def but that doesn't matter for branded they have a lot of ways to clear or beat over most kaijus and we don't need to give them a def monster since we can't make zeus plays.
You need something for purrely and at least you can tribute iblle with it and its light
It replaces other engine starters and engine requirements, so unless you were cutting those cards already, it isn’t really making the deck less consistent
3x Keeper - Gold Sarc/Aluber/Kitt
2x Bricks - Saronir/Retribution
1x Instant - Branded in White(?)
Claws is more applicable than Kaijus as it can tribute summon over Iblee, and tribute into a Spright’s Numen lock. Also tributes into a Gameciel board that Scareclaw was setting up
@@RevzCards I've never seen someone call Saronir a brick. it's a free discard at worst that dumps a card you may need in the GY or an actual hand trap against certain decks like mathmech. it makes the deck worse playing into a board esspecially when you draw the hard brick of cobra. a few cards in your extra deck lose way too much value when that happens. I've also never been a fan of branded in white. it needed way too much set up to use or part of an inconsistent combo. Instant fusion could still be in the deck for the sac of having it for millenium eyes, which by itself already stops ash without needing the normal and a discard to combo into a way to stop ashe that also requires a discard to stop it if it does happen.
Claws could literally just be a Dark ruler for almost all those example and it would be better at breaking the board with the exception to Iblee which is not even that common in any deck currently. Bagooska is a better reason to play it over the other cards on that list.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru It's a card that doesn't allow you to play going 1st unless you open very specific cards, so it's cuttable for the right replacement. Obviously it's better to open than Cobra, but the 1 in 10 games that you see it as a slightly more valuable card isn't as important (to me) as the ability to stop ash 70% of the time. Drawing Cobra only makes Ambulance & arguably Dragoon less valuable, but only if you draw it with exactly Keeper or Instant which is
