I played my first OTS championship ever and won! Was playing blackwings and won against Rikka, floo, 2 unchained and chimera branded (5-0)

I Cut the dispater, bystial package and moved some things around. Managed to keep it at 40 with a shaddoll engine to garuntee winda + construct alongside branded board almost every turn.
Honestly so much fun. Still nice to play shaddoll after so many years
Very cool, good job! I went to an ots champs this weekend but I opted to go with chimera pure. Maybe I should've stuck with this list (not card for card but I've something similar) because of familiarity. Also KeeperGang let's gooo

Imo the light kaiju is the ideal kaiju for branded because it turns normal albaz into albion and then mirror jade.

I personally don’t understand why anyone hates keeper or don’t understand why it is in my deck. Because it’s the best branded card and I’ll say that till I take my last breath.
Deck techs are always interesting, and congrats on the dub! Been out of the game for a long while, and I WANT to play again, but man.....there are so many cards that do so many things, lol. Any recommendations for like "Meta snapshot" videos?
The biggest issue I've faced on Master Duel is just knowing what cards I need to stop, and when. Sometimes, I feel like I stopped a floodgate, but it just triggers something in the graveyard that I didn't catch. Reading the card is one thing, but reading, comprehending, and remembering in real-time, is something totally different, lol.
I guess what I'm getting at, is some kind of meta primer video would be super helpful. Talking about meta decks, and what parts of their chains need to be interrupted, what weaknesses exist to be exploited, etc.
GGYGO & MST.TV on youtube usually have decent resources for interruptions and where to use them, but these are typically dated to the format they’d be uploaded in
You do get a lot of games where it’s like “yeah I cba reading every card u have, I’ma just stop this and hope for the best” which usually gets solved with knowledge/experience gained over time. You start to recognise the important cards that need to be stopped in certain decks. It helps in person when you have a rough idea of what to expect format-wise and verbal communication is much easier/faster, especially after a match when you can just kind of ask.
This is what gives playing a lesser-known deck certain advantages, as people don’t really know how to optimally interrupt your plays. Master Duel is a bit of a different beast since you can come up against literally anything for 75% of the ladder, so I guess you’d have to see what deck your struggling with specifically and search it up or something!

My area is reeeeally inactive when it comes to good events. So, I play a lot of TCG's to make up for it. Just hit Pokemon nationals awhile back, I've got two Lorcana $2k's coming up, etc. Hopping from game to game is *usually* fine.
YGO specifically feels the hardest to jump back into. But, it makes sense that Master Duel is not a great representation of the physical TCG. Seems like a lot of stuff can change based on what's popular in your extended locals.

Feels like Saronir would have been decent as a means to get to branded fusion via Cartesia/granny stuff.

This is just my two cents but have you considered using el shaddoll winda instead of dragoon? And just replace dark magician with shaddoll beast?
Instead of beast, use falco because you can't summon beast off of keeper's effect, or off of deployment. Winda doesn't say Shaddoll Beast specifically, just 1 Shaddoll monster

You can't send winda and beast because both are both level five, and granguignol sends level 6 or higher.@@kyle5372
I think the reason why this deck doesn’t really get hit is cause it’s not that great actually. We’re also behind massively on sets compared to the OCG. So it may see hits later if really needs it.
