There's a HUGE discography to check out not only with BTS as a group but also as solo artists. It's a huge undertaking but not one I think you'll regret as it introduces you to an entirely new world of wonderfully crafted music for all ears with lyricism at its finest. BTS doesn't fit in one genre.. they are all over the map. Basically BTS is music, period. They are their own genre. I think you will like them, so I suggest watch "On Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima" and Who is BTS the Seven Members of Bangtan before you go any further so you can be a little more informed before commenting. I promise that you will not be sorry.

And I believe that BTS are one of the few groups that have full control over the creative process as they write and produce their own songs which isn't that common amongst KPOP idols.

K-pop fans often become loyal to one group and there becomes fan Wars which is something new as I'm an older American. So they got a lot of hate starting out specially since they were from a small company. But then they started to get successful. So this is kind of their comment to the haters. You might want to check out who is BTS and I think it's a crash course into BTS that'll kind of help you out.

You just named some of the hip hop artists that the rap line look up to/are influenced by. When you dig deeper into the rap line tracks, you will see that they are hip hop.
RM & Suga were underground rappers before joining the group. RM was famous and respected by his fellow underground rappers by the age of 13/14. The CEO of Bighit, Bang PD, was introduced to RM and said that he was so special that he had to debut him. The group BTS was built around RM.
Suga said that he knew who RM was when he joined the group. He recently revealed that he felt like he had to write better songs and rap better than RM. Healthy competition. But that was earlier in their career and that is no longer the case.
They were initially supposed to be a hip hop group, and had different members. Bang PD decided to debut them as an Idol group, which made the original members leave since they didn’t want to be idols. RM, Suga, and J hope stayed. The vocal line was added to give us the group that is here today.
RM & Suga received so much hate & criticism from the underground rappers for being in an idol group. This led to the Cypher series by the rap line. J hope was a famous street dancer and only started rapping after joining BTS. But his flow is so unique and it sounds like he’s been rapping since forever. Sorry for the long essay.
Bts have done songs of plenty different genre so if you are searching for a breakthrough song maybe you could checkout a song that match with the genre that you like the most

That was the youtube thing.Make sure to follow them on both the channels.
Then they have weverse which is there own version of insta members have their own account there and regularly interact with their fans,share pictures, Run episodes ( BTS'S own reality show where they play games,do cooking, talk with fans etc etc). These Run episodes are also uploaded on Vlive( this is Korean CZcams sort of a thing but its in english version also so u can find almost all international kpop fans there following their own artist, so in Vlive bts comes live just like CZcams live streaming they talk with fans lott, to summarize they interact with their fans a lottt).Run episodes are very funny , u will have a good time watching those, will see their raw self.
BTS regularly puts up some content in one platform or another and many a times it feels like if we sleep we are gonna miss their live.

You haven't seen anything yet!!! BTS is completely OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! Lyrics are really important. You should put subtitles!!!
BTS always come out with different genre or style. They don't stick to a certain formula because they are into improvement and versatility. They show great stuff not just visually but in all dimension. They are incredible.
Here's three things you can expect as a newbie discovering BTS:
- insane music video productions and visuals. A lot of their sets are actual sets and not green screen (you'll see what I mean in other BTS music videos).
- great choreography
- and versatile music. None of their songs sound the same. That is to say you can look at their entire discography and cannot find two songs that sound similar. They explore all types of genres including pop, neo-soul, classical, trap, house, rnb etc.
When you get deeper into BTS you'll always get: - amazing and thoughtful lyrics
- amazing songs
- an amazing visual and auditive experience. These guys go all out especially during their live concert performances.

Yep, they continue singing and dancing through explosions on the movie set because they are highly trained and dedicated professionals. They train 12 to 16 hours a day. They have too, to be this good and to continue to be this good. Their live performances are so energetic they have to keep their fitness and health up and continue dance practice. As a member of BTS said after a performance at one of the several big end of year Korean Music Award shows, I think it as last year? and I'm paraphrasing here, "...the reason we can still dance so hard now is because we danced so hard back then..." referring to when they first debuted in 2013 and the first few years after.
They started out as hip hop and have transition into more pop music. I personally enjoy metal music, so i think the rap line make the best songs.

Mic drop is always the best choice. My fav is "Fire". They are three rappers, and 4 singers. All of them can dance pretty good. If you prefer raps, react to "BTS Cypher 4 live Coundtown", anyway there are Cyphers 1,2 and 3. Suga is my bies, (Agust D when he works alone). Agust D newest one called "Daechwita". And "moonlight" "What do you think?" and "People" are in this album. And "Daechwita"MV by Big Hit lebel has only 1 month with close to 100 M visits now. From Argentina.

10:56-10:58 is when you realize just how HUGE their budget was for this MV. That's not solely CGI, it's real pyrotechnics. Their MV's blow a lot of U.S. music videos out of the water all around production & concept wise.

A lot of us love BTS because of their versatility. They take part in the song writing and the production for their music. They aren't mainstream even though they have a literal army of fans because aren't white and don't make "radio friendly" music. Each of the members write and produce music for the group and they each have solo music. Maybe try something from RM like Change that he did with Wale or P.D.D. that he worked on with Warren G. -Also Joke is different. Turn on the CC! Please. . Suga also makes music under the name of Agust D but Shadow is his latest solo for BTS. J-Hope is another of the rappers - Hope World is a song from his mixtape and Ego is his latest solo song for BTS.
Try Not Today as a group MV and if you're looking for their most popular MV - then DNA has over a billon views. IDOL is great too. Blood Sweat and Tears was my first favorite MV, but you aren't ready for that :)

I love your honesty. Too many reaction You Tubers just say a song or act is brilliant for the sake of views / subscribers. I LOVE BTS but it took me quite a few listens to really get into them. I had a preconceived idea of K-pop (don’t know why) and thought do I really want to listen to this ? But the talent and diversity of music style that BTS has, as well as the fact they work so hard releasing high quality and a high QUANTITY of music (they already have 9 mv’s out this year varying from group to individual work ), as well as their ability to put out live performances that blow your mind made me fall down the BTS rabbit hole. And I wouldn’t have it any other way now. They definitely have their own style which is wide and varied so you never get bored. Stay honest with your reviews......people can be honest without being rude as you have been so far in your videos which I appreciate.

they write and produce a lot of their own stuff, and all 7 of them contribute lyrics, melodies, etc. so since they all have different tastes you end up with a really broad range of styles!
