- Altgang! What's good, in this video we react to NF Story. This is an absolute insane piece of storytelling. I don't even know why I was shocked at this level of storytelling, we all been knowing that NF can pull together some of the most intricture narratives in hiphop. 10/10 track for me, digging this clouds mixtape for sure.

Tommee Profit does just about every song for NF as far as I know. Tommee does movies and NF really likes movies so that’s why NF’s songs have that cinematic sound. SO DOPE

Dude this one was the craziest one I’ve ever seen from NF. First few times I watched it, I got chills
I've now listened to this about 40 times. The way he uses tempo, hidden beats, voice volume, etc. makes you literally feel like you are there...
im so glad that i listened to the audio first and made the story in my head, and then got to see the actual video...also dax has grown so much!
Me too, I was confused with the end without the video though.
my impression with the 'cigarettes' line in the beginning is (aside from the fact that it's an audio trick to fill the silence) that everything lyric in the song is her thoughts; complete stream of consciousness, only what's in her mind, but nicotine is very regularly characterized as an external force that pushes you into the addiction, so having that deep voice repeat 'cigarettes' is communicating that her physiological addiction is reinforcing her thoughts whether she wants it to or not.

To think he called this just a "mixtape". To me this track and Trust are two of his best tracks to date. The last 2 years NF has been on a level few can touch. It's scary to think what he might be in 5/10 years. It's going to get harder and harder for my hood friends to deny his greatness as time goes on.
He keeps getting better and better. This ALBUM is excellent.

I agree 100% the way he tells a story is crazy because he tells the story in his writing the video and ties it together with the perfect beat . You asked if the robbers were the same one from green lights and something amazing I found out from a comment that I missed the first time, the first robber is actually NF behind the mask. I don't know how I missed it but it 100% looks like him and it REALLY shows when you see how he moves while rapping the robbers part. Signature NF style and moves when he raps lol

It’s crazy how we with such intensity portrays a big crime and problem in society in such a cinematic but lively way. And the small details, like her going for what she usually goes for (starburst, Twix? Starburst.) probably shows her getting stuck in the same pattern she repeats everyday and of course, the huge plot twist with the no-rent paying boyfriend being the robber. So I guess he wasn’t doing drugs 🤷♀️

This one blew my mind. I was not prepared when I watched it at 4 the other morning. It reminded me of the bathtub scene from Training Day, where it got so intense that I felt like I was the one about to get shot. It's funny how when I first heard Intro 3 I hoped it had a video so I could see how his visuals matched what I was seeing in my head, but when I heard this for the first time with the video, I almost wished it was just the audio so I could make my own visuals again.

I intentionally avoid them cause they make me cringe and anxious. But i was mesmerized by this. The suspense was incredible. I was super anxious but couldn't look/listen away.
