Many snakes fall into wells in India and they need to be expertly rescued! Some of them are deadly venomous and potentially dangerous. We joined Mobarak snake saver and his team in Jharkhand during their quest to rescue snakes in rural areas. Several snake species were taken out of wells while a big crowd was always watching!
Rescued snake species:
Spectacled cobra (Naja naja)
Banded krait (Bungarus fasciatus)
Monocled cobra (Naja kaouthia)

Awesome video, extremely educational, I do hope that well water was not for human consumption as it looked foul? Thanks for your efforts with this channel, very much appreciated...👍👍👍

Very impressed! with the mini lectures to the locals not to kill snakes. I'm so glad nobody fell in the wells.
Thank you! We tried to educate locals, it was funny that seeing white people was a bigger shock for them than seeing cobras 😀
@@LivingZoology India is a land of contrasts, modernity and wealth next to tradition and poverty, it can be a shock to Europeans. Do you think village people in India have less fear of snakes that many people in rural Africa?
@@welshskiesOur people are so much afraid and kill snakes all the time. It’s very difficult to bring awareness but it’s changing slowly.
Incredible India!
Exactly! Thanks for watching!
Impressive rescues, thanks for the amazing and information in this video.
Thank you very much for watching! 🙏🙂
Wow those rescues were amazing. Thank goodness the snakes were ok
Thank you very much for watching!
Great video - I so admire the rescuers - it's amazing to see what they can do with low-tech and professionalism. I don't really envy the villagers living in close proximity to venomous snakes, and the work you and the rescuers do to educate people and dissuade them from killing the snakes is commendable.
Thank you for watching! The education is extremely important - thanks to it many unlucky incidents can be avoided. We love to educate local people and show them that they have amazing nature and animals around their homes so we came all the way to Europe to visit them. Very often they start to see that snakes are not only potentially dangerous, but also beautiful and much needed in nature.

V Indii také zabíjejí hady ve velkém.
Are you based in india ?
No, we are from the Czech Republic.
Can spectacled cobra kill banded krait? Reply me bro
Most probably the Banded krait will eat the cobra as it feeds on other snakes.
Can u please answer my question about why is there no anti venom for the twig snake ? Thank you
Twig snakes bite very few people, so it is not economical to produce the antivenom.
What were they doing there? Talk about an infestation.
Where there are many rats, there are many snakes.
*WHY IS THE WELL SO FUCKING BIG???*
They probably have a lot of water there, we were also thinking why are these wells so massive.
why not shoot first with guns ? then rescue and feed the remains to other animals
Snakes have their role in nature and should be protected.
I wonder if the krait followed the cobras in hopes of catching a meal.
We think so! Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤
Thank you!
