India has amazing snake diversity with over 300 species! These reptiles are able to adapt to urban landscapes and live close to people. Unfortunately, India also has many deadly venomous snakes and snakebite is a big medical problem. This time we will show you snake species which are common and can be often found in agricultural land. In each episode you will see 5 species.
Episode 1 - COMMON SNAKE SPECIES OF INDIA
Russell's viper (Daboia russelii)
Indian rat snake (Ptyas mucosa)
Common sand boa (Eryx conicus)
Checkered keelback (Fowlea piscator)
Common bronzeback (Dendrelapis tristis)
You produce without doubt the best natural history videos. No boring commentary, no drama catching and pinning, just concise uncomplicated information. As an aside the Sand Boa had an extremely short tail, is this a characteristic of this species? I loved the Keelback. Many thanks for another superb video.
We deeply appreciate that you love our content and the information we provide. Yes, sand boas have quite short and fat tails. Great that you loved the keelback! Thank you!

Yes, the best natural history videos on snakes, providing natural history information on life styles, anatomical features, and other biological peculiarities of each species. And, of course, the videography could hardly be better. One can only wish they were longer.

I hope you will visit Hoedspruit reptile centre when you’re in South Africa and see Jessica and Chris Cooke who run the park
We just came back from South Africa two weeks ago! Maybe next time!
I can’t wait to come to South Africa I literally dream about it almost every day. Hopefully this year is the year that dream comes true.
@@pumpkinchow It is a beautiful country! Good luck!
Russell’s Viper camouflage is amazing for concealment in dry leaves and even on open barren ground No wonder it accounts for so many snakebites.
Yes, these snakes are amazingly camouflaged! Thanks for watching!
From India king cobra , Russell's viper, spectacle cobra, monocled cobra, common sand boa , common krait , common trinket, rat snake ,green vine snake ,Malabar pit viper and some spicies
Thank you for watching and not sure what are you trying to say with your comment. Some of the snakes you mention don't live in all states of India.
@@LivingZoology I know
It's such a pity that the frame rate is so slow on CZcams, I watch them on a 4K screen and the motion blur is very noticeable. Maybe one day they will be available on Blue-Ray.
Sorry to hear that! We film in 4k 50fps and render to FullHD 25fps otherwise the uploading of each video to CZcams would take days.
I think it will be started with my favourite eryx conicus ❤
It will be in the video for sure! 🙂
I don't think dat it is a boïds , his head looks like a viperids.
@@LivingZoology my is saw scaled viper..see tomorow...i hope😁

We met so many people in Jharkand! It was nice!
Rough Scaled sand boa is the common name
This species has several common names.
Aucun commentaire sur les spécimenes des serpents dommage
Not sure what are you trying to say.
Too bad you all couldn't get permission to do a video of the golden lance head viper.
That is sad, yes. Who knows, maybe there will be a chance in the future.
IsThat last snake is Venomous or Non Venomous?
Bronzebacks are non-venomous.
It would be absolutely awesome vid, guys. 🤩🤩🤩
We hope so! 🙂
@@LivingZoology I hope so too. 😁😁😁
