Installed some noname Amazon crash bars to my wife's 2022 CB500X. Bunch of sellers on Amazon sell these made in China bars.. Give you a walk around and install tips.
I put the exact same ones on my 22 CB500x a year ago and still going strong. I haven't had to "test" them yet, but they do seem sturdy. Everyone says the same thing about their instructions, they're not very helpful, and confusing at best. I ended up mounting some Axillary lights to the front of the upper bars and looks and feels pretty good. Happy riding!
Hello sir! Thanks for the video. I have a question regarding the lower pieces. Are they made to meet each other behind the exhaust pipes ? I am looking at some China bars which do, but I couldn't see if that's the case for your bars. Thanks for your answer.
Where the bars are connected to the bolt under the clutch on the right hand side when sitting on the bike. A couple of washers should keep the bars from touching the engine. Won't really hurt anything if you don't, though. Just looks better.

Yes, they meet under the exhaust.
Hi, I bought the same guards, a little confused to where the spacers fit as I have no instructions, can you help?

Do you recommend a skid plate
Yes, if you plan on riding single track or on seriously rocky unrepaired dirt roads. Since my wife only rides gravel roads, I haven't put one on.
