The Bob Ross painting is extremely undervalued. He painted 3 copies of each work & all three are held in storage & not for sale. Very, very few are in circulation. This guy owns a rare work by a master painter.

I had to put on my sunglasses to look at that ring, Dr. Lori. Lots of bling there. Wow! The hand bags are a dime a dozen. But the Bob Ross did it for me. I grew up watching his shows on PBS. He was such a great guy, and a great teacher. I tried a few of his paintings while he was on air, I couldn't keep up. They all went in the trash. I wish I had kept at art because I love it.

I think the Bob Ross piece is worth a lot more than that. Lots of people want to own his work but his family has them all in storage. You can't find any for sale anywhere

Yes. There is a video on CZcams showing the Bob Ross archives. Not many people know that for every episode, he painted 3 of the same image. There are hundreds of his works, but no one can buy them.

My Dr. Lori, might have to fight ya on the Ross a little bit. Understanding the oval takes off. While Bob DID do bookoos of paintings over the years, save the ones he's donated to PBS fundraising drives for auction, there is almost ZERO availability. Due to the fact that ALMOST 100% of his art is STORED IN A WAREHOUSE and they WILL NOT SALE THEM. They are all in boxes except odd things like this. I'm thinking an original BR would be 20k but taking off for the oval w no knowledge of sales records but adding for the specialty of the history and the circumstances under which he acquired it, I'd have called the piece in the neighborhood of 12-15k.
I was about to comment the same. I have friends who have attempted to convince the family/ conservators to part with even one canvas and were quickly denied. He made 3 per show, right? I would love to go visit that warehouse! (Frankly, from what I learned from a documentary those paintings aren't being archived as safely as I would have assumed.)

I dont understand why Dr. Lori is not married. I'm not saying she should be , because I think she smart too not marry. I really can't blame her, it's just she seems so genuine.
