    You can always spot the hidden cross swords at the base of the bottom of tree in design. Meissen designers did this due to all the copies made by Dresden factories.

    Wow I have a Meissen Antique platter from 1800s and a reticulated bowl but it's a newer meissen from 1950s. One of my favorite brands and love finding Meissen.

    WOW. Dr. Lori you have the coolest job EVER!!
    Beautiful pieces. I wish the blue chrysanthemum would have been the real deal. The story of her brothers love of this piece is sweet. The homeless are looked down on but this story proves that they are people too and have merit. My daughter is teaching that to her children. Whenever possible they give them a small ziplock goodie bag filled with a snack or two+ and a chapstick or something else from a box of goodies they keep in the car.

    Great segment. I wish it had been an original for her sake, but the sentimental value of this piece is amazing.

    That was really touching and fun! I guessed Meissen also when I saw the blue crossed swords on the back of the platter. Because of your videos I am learning more about identifying pieces and what to look for. More please!😊💕

    Really.....even real doctors do not often need to be referred to as “Dr”.....silly...ego obviously is her deal!

      Give me a break! She studied hard to get her PhD, and she is incredibly knowledgeable for what she does. So what’s wrong for her to use the hard-earned title as her trademark? If you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say it.

      She isn't whistling Dixie, it is her expertise. Dr. in front of a name is how we know. What's yours in?

    • @craftyladies7777
      @craftyladies7777 Před 4 lety +4

      @@diannajohnston4558 most of my doctors still prefer to be called doctor and anyone with a PhD has worked long and hard for that degree. I dont understand why using the Dr. Is a sign of ego. To me it designates that she knows what shes talking about.
