D.P. Alternative Energy Designs (D.P.A.E.D.) is entering into the Pepsi Refresh grant program for a $50,000 grant to further our research into petroleum free alternative energy solutions and build a working prototype.
We are a non profit organization dedicated and determined to finding a solution to our current energy crisis which has been underscored by the recent BP Gulf oil disaster off the coast of Louisiana, and the nuclear catastrophe in Japan. These incidents all point to the unsustainability of current energy management.
Profits generated from sales of hydrogen units, EV conversions and other technologies will be donated to other charitable organizations in the form of energy efficient portable gensets that can be used by the United Way and Red cross to help in disaster areas where power is desperately needed. We will also be donating converted EV's to low income families struggling with their fuel bills through The Good News Garage.
