That looks really good! I have made a couple challenge coin holders for my wife and I but I use a 1/4 router bit to create the slots. I have a couple different designs I want to take a shot at making and this one you've made is one of them. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

Nicely done! I have some coins from the 70s when I was living in the Middle East that I've wanted to get out of the box and display. Not in a cabinet, but something that would allow someone to pick up the coins and actually look at them. Your display holder fits the bill. I'm also a cop - your teeth are too good to be a cook.

I had a gripper once and cut it the first week I had it... What a genius I am. Now I always make my own push sticks and I cut those also, but I don't feel as bad.
Nice project but do you have a plan available? What size is the groove and how deep do you cut it.
Donald Amlaw Unfortunately I don't have plans for this. The slots were cut with a standard kerf (1/8"). I don't recall the depth and I no longer have the coin holder. I would try a few cuts in scrap wood until you are happy with the depth.
Did you do the grooves at 20 degrees aswell ? Or another angle ?

Phil Reynolds Yes. They're made to get a really good seal around your face. You could get sprayed in the face by a skunk and not smell a thing. ;)
