    Great video, been having intermittent issues with the ac not wanting to change from defrost and the bottom vents and this spring it stopped all of a sudden. I feel vacuum coming from the line on the back of the HVAC Control box and the door actuator turns when switching temp from cold to hot. This looks to be the fix I need. Thank you, will be giving this a shot asap. Fogged up windows in the summer is dangerous from the ac. :D

    Wow Wolverine, that is one of the best tech how-to videos I have seen in a long time! I'm a retired F-15E electrician and we could definitely benefit from training videos made by you. Could you please tell me who or where you ordered the O-rings for the EATC control head solenoids ? I think I am having the same problem on my 2006 Crown Victoria. Thanks in advance!!

    Why did you take the solenoid off the mount you can just bend the tabs and take the o-ring out and replace it

  • @PrimarchBentley
    @PrimarchBentley Před rokem

    Okay, this is an old post, but I just disassembled an EATC... and there were no springs in two of the solenoids. To verify, there are springs for all 4, correct? I have a suspicion the former owner for a "rebuilt" unit... that wasn't fully

    Your ac controls look different than the stock crown vics, are they upgraded? My guess would be they’re out of a town car or grand marquis? That’d be a nice upgrade.

    • @Bcmwolverine
      @Bcmwolverine  Před 4 lety +2

      Nope it can from the factory like that. Mine is the P74 so it’s got a few more features than the P71 but less than a Town Car or a Grand Marquis

    0:01 Wow! 4K, AND high frame rate (60fps). Someone's been patient with their bandwidth. Or, did you get this all edited, and then upload it at school? Your new PC is paying off. Very impressed.
    Nice Time Stamp Chapters. Btw, you can label the first chapter anything you want. I just used "Start" cuz I couldn't figure what else to use.

    -
    3:41 Geez, how many custom PC's have you built/repaired? I don't see a grounding strap though. Lol
    -
    12:33 You stole my idea again for doing giveaways. Well, I got news for ya, I picked up 3 little items today, I'm planning to make full reviews on, and give away that should be fun. Take that.
    -
    You've really outdone yourself with this "How To". This should be a companion video to FordTechMakuLoco's.
    Technically it kinda already is, because his video is showing in my "recommended next video" section.

      Nope lol I left it overnight and it took probably about 12 hours to upload lol. Also about the chapters that's good to know, although I don't know what else I would call it either.
      Bahahahaha!
      Yeah I liked that little edit!
      I use this kit for phone repair. Living in a tiny community makes phone repair shops few and far between so I make decent money on the side by fixing phones and computers! Also the grounding strap is in the top left in the little pouch!
      Hahaha! Looks like you got me beat! I won't be doing anything bigger than can fit in an envelope because shipping ain't cheap!
      Thanks! I had fun making it. I am planning on a few more throughout the summer. I am done school and I should hopefully have some extra time on my hands to makes some more videos. Although it may be tricky to make them around work. We shall see!
