The only guitarists Hendrix endorsed during his life - as in, people can corroborate the story being told - are Eric Clapton (played a duet with him live during the early Experience days), Terry Kath (saw him live with Chicago at the Whisky a Go-Go), and Billy Gibbons (saw him live when the Moving Sidewalks opened a show for the Experience).
The commonality is that they're all blues guitarists with slightly experimental approaches to the craft. As in, Hendrix liked performers that took after him and did their own thing.
Phil Collins is an amazing drummer and I'm pretty sure he probably dug Karen's technique, especially since she's playing very close to how Buddy Rich would play lines
He might have said that but its definitely not true he’d make Karen look like a clown tbh
jeezzz she's good🤯
Quite possibly the greatest female performer to have ever lived. Incredible.
Gosh this is really good drumming
Long live Karen’s memory.

Wonderful time and timing.
I cannot believe I have never heard of this woman before, my god
This was before my time, so I had no idea she could drum like that! I was expecting this video to be some kind of meme that mocks her. Pleasantly surprised!
No MIDI, No Autotune, No triggers….this is how I want to see, enjoy, and play music.
Amazing talent.
This is the first time I've ever heard of her but god damn if her drumming isn't exactly what I love the most about drumming
Una voz adorable y además veo que tiene mucho garbo con la batería. Escucha sus canciones es una delicia.
I heard that the French, by the 10's of 1,000's, were dancing in the streets (of Orleans, etc.) on May 16, 1920, the day Joan of Arc (The Carpenter's Daughter - Fille de Dieu) was canonized Saint Joan of Arc. 'I am the drum upon which God is beating out his message." -- Saint Joan of Arc. "Karen Carpenter is the preeminent martyr of easy listening. The Joan of Arc of soft rock."
Profound contribution. Thank you.
Un grand Merci de France ..👋très bon commentaire ..
