Seemed more like jealousy, ultimately he was right about not trusting Brian, since he accused him of being a cop when Dom and Him caught him checking for engines.
But Dom never took him seriously due to him knowing he had a crush on his sister, if Leon or Jesse accused him of being a cop I’m sure he would’ve been more serious about it

@02:18 I always loved the way Vince took Jesse's head and pointed it to Brian's car. It's those details where you realize the effort that was put into this movie that intensify the emotions of the characters and makes you feel what's just happening. The first Fast movie is until today in my Top 10 list of all time. It came out when I was a teenager, best age to watch a legendary movie like this. The 1999-2001 were the best years in cinema history in my opinion. Gladiator, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, The Fast and the Furious. Within only 2 years four of the most legendary movies (imho) were released. And also the average movies like Big Momma's House, Meet the Parents (both from 2000) were at that time more enjoyable than the few good ones today. Wish we had good movies like this today where the directors would put more effort and passion into their creations.
Sadly most movies today are just about awesome CGI and good looking graphics... It's a long time since i've seen a new movie, which had a good story build around well developing characters (except Joker last year)

There's just something about the way this movie was shot... the colors, the camera work. Sets it apart so much from the rest of the films. Really love it.
Also wish LA hadn't decided to remove the parking around that garden island across the street from the store (Bob's Market, irl). Speaking of which, any fan who's seen this movie countless times like me - after a while you start remembering the "prop cars" (probably a better term exists, I don't know) like the brown Buick Apollo that gets a couple seconds of prominent camera time. Has to be the most well-known (it's not saying much, but it is, haha) Buick Apollo in film history, yes?

There are so many little things people miss during this scene. I've seen this movie so many times i pretty much know everything. Brian doesn't just come to Letty's for tuna, it's his job to spy on Dom and he knows he hangs out there. He gets info from Harry, because he was selling illegal parts and to stay out of jail he becomes an informant. That's why Harry can't fire him when Dom calls. Brian then realizes he could enter Dom's inner circle by beating him (or trying to) in a race. Can't believe it's been 10 years since Paul Walker died. RIP legend.
