“I'm all the kid's got”, before Fast and Furious became like Mission Impossible, the movie showed real emotions, real situations, and the consequences of making bad decisions. Even though this movie revolved around fast cars, it was the most human Fast and Furious to me.
People tend to think that this series was never just about racing and that it was always about the crazy action, and while that is true, it was more about the drama that surrounded everything outside of fast cars that really appealed to people in the first three films.

He got caught in the crossfire and didn’t deserve the fate he got but you know when you saw how mad he was, he looked at Brian and Brian looked scared, but he knew as he was a cop he was shot at so he had to pursue! He pursued them and Dom went from “No!!!! Jesse!!!” To “I’m killing them both! @Big Daddy imagine he comes out in a new ff I’m sure the directors see the comments about what happened to leon I wonder what happened to the actor what other movies he comes out in
Rewatching this movie as a young adult I’ve come to realize that I relate to Jesse A LOT, just before he’s killed you can tell he’s having a MAJOR anxiety attack and doesn’t know what to do (the kid was soaked in sweat and sounded like he was about to burst into tears), which just makes his death all the sadder.
Hes the only real actor in this movie, everyone else giving wooden performances while Chad Lindberg gave a pretty good performance
@@HunterMagunter nah, especially in this movie, Diesel is giving it 100% and it shows. That “I’m not running!” Is actually startling to hear. Also the scene where he first shows Brian the charger, you can also feel how much he’s messed up from his dad’s death. Even Paul, compared to the sequels, has a more outstanding performance here. Also they’re all young and for a lot of them this was their first big break so they’re all still pretty green in terms of acting. I thought they all did great in the first film.
The actor that played Jesse made it so believable and real.

Shock was something they did really well, the side characters all had place and memory for me, especially JESSE. @@wexerst9233 bro you dont find them in dealerships
If you want a Dodge Charger at least be original. I have a '66. I like the fastback and next to nobody has one. I found it on Craigslist back in 2012. It was sitting on a dairy farm rotting away in the garage of the farm's guest house. Mice had eaten all the wiring up, a lot of rust on the lower frame, racoons made a nest in the rear seat, squirrels put nuts down the carburetor, it was a real mess. I learned as I went, only cost me $400 for the car, so I had nothing to lose, worked on it a little a month. Mechanically restored now all this time later, but it needs the engine honed and rebuilt, which is really expensive. Someone ran it like a race car back when it was new and fried the cylinders. I fixed it as well as I could with old new OEM parts which helped a lot, but the power is low and it smokes like mad due to the slop.

Firstnamew wym he’s right tho he did it for the family... listen at that point Brian had an option either be the good friend or the bad friend he chose to be the good friend by getting revenge for killing his friend
Even then, if you look at him as a cop, I'm pretty sure Brian was justified in shooting Johnny Tran because Tran had shot an SMG at him at least 3 times at that point. Tran was also firing wildly, so there was the chance that civilians could've been shot or killed.
