Hey I know you from IG. As we have discussed before, this moleskin Cossack jacket is the bomb. I own the olive one and was very lucky to get one of the last at Standard and Strange. My wife loves it, I love it and everyone that sees me in it likes it. Everything you’ve said is spot on.
Just started wearing my 01’s, and they are such a great pattern on me. The denim is beautiful and understated, but the pattern is wear they shine. Your Cossack jacket is so cool. Love that look. I went 3” up in the waist. Had 3” of shrink in the waist and 4” in the length of shrink.
Your advice about Ooe sizing is spot on. With the jeans, two sizes from the desired waist---and that's in two-size increments (I have only rarely seen Ooe in one inch size increments). I similarly had to size up 2x to get their cossacks to fit. I'd love to see you in a pair of Dawson Denim---two person shop, brilliant craft---though the patterns might not be wholly to your taste (and to each their own, right?) Nicely done here, as usual.
They make solid stuff, but most of their fits are super tight in the Thigh aside form the true guy. They also have a huge variety of fabrics depending on what you want

Yeah its really a special piece. The olive one is more rare than my mustard one on top of that

A very cool and high end alternative. Aside from styling and quality for me it's all about sizing and availability.

Yeah I'm really interested in the Dawson wide leg jeans. They seem like they'd be a great fit for me.
And yes the sizing on Ooe is similar to several other Japanese brands I've owned jeans from. It's basically the opposite of American vanity sizing

You can buy them from American stores or Japan and ship them! Right now nobody has access to CSF outside of Japan
Most OOE jeans I've seen are way too slim at the top block IMO thighs are always seems sug, their jacket on the other hand is art of craftsmanship

could i get some extra thoughts on naked and famous? kinda into the brand and what they got going on, but it’d be cool to get your pros and cons

Yeah this is a short jacket. They have made other longer jackets that would work well for you though
