Inspired by two amazing video games - Syndicate (1993) and Syndicate Wars (1996) that I was hooked on back in the day, that had amazing atmosphere and gameplay for the time. This new longform ambient piece is designed for background/sleeping/coding/meditation.

I looked at your extensive crazy precise list , could not find it ? who did the artwork? where is this community located , same kind of futuristic backdrops as Jedi ambient channel , who was pioneer at Joooooooooooo Tube , who has classic "abandoned Space Station" 1 hour + as my favourite sleep music , although Kudos to you.. are you from wealthy family or just single and good job to buy all the toys ?

Would you ever be consider making a small documentary on what some of your cool equipment does, how it works, where the sounds come from etc. Simple, Educational. Also your inspirations, mentors etc. You music is so relaxing and compelling. Thank you for creating it.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I'm not a great educational speaker nor am I comfortable or confident in such things, I even avoid interviews unless they are in written form only. I've made a little studio tour with commentary a little while ago, and that's probably as far as I'll go with that. Of course, it's possible to build confidence and become a good speaker with practice, but that would require I start spending considerable time into that, and creating new content, very often with me talking. Not only would those videos take away a lot of time from creating new music, but the quality would be inherently much lower due to the inclusion of me trying to speak well! At least for the first 1-2 years, probably. Some of this info you ask for, I could provide in written form somewhere, but where? I'm sure I've put some things on my Facebook page, but a lot of my subscribers won't use FB, besides posts get buried and hard to find eventually. I'm not sure of a good solution yet, other than a web page, but I don't really like that idea either. Anyway, thanks for your interest!@@mykmartinez

Syndicate and Syndicate Wars were such great games. While listening to the music I can see myself back in the 90s playing on Amiga and later PC. I use this track now whilst playing Star Citizen - it suits the game really well while travelling through space and exploring moons and planets. The best location must be the city of Hurston though (if you're familiar with SC).
That sounds great :) Yeah I know SC. I feel like I backed that game like 50 years ago. It's a while since I played, I don't really get into incomplete games much, but I should check it out again soon if I find time.

Another stellar sonic mindscape shaping journey into ethereal realms. I never played those games, but whateva, I love the atmospheres in this long-form. I must say, I have always enjoyed seeing the equipment, the lights, and your movements. For this, I can not watch. Between the cover image and the horn synths (that's what I hear), I am reminded of Blade Runner moods. i perfectly remember the feelings i have the first time i played those games , i have them in GOG, also played them again during pandemy after all these years, bullfrog productions...., what can i say, those games marked me, i also played homeworld in my time in UK, try homeworld remastered which i played also in pandemy....the OST of homeworld is one of the best in the story of videogames... i am waiting now the release of homeworld 3... with paul ruskay and the developers of the series involved..., marvellous ambient music SA....

@stateazure silly question from a fellow synthesist. You've used this bass instrument on a few bits. What is the instrument/plugin and/or patch, if you're free to say so? I'll pick @44:00 as a random example. It's solid but pushes a bit here and there, like the compression is set too hard on purpose. It's funny that every time I need a solid bass drone like this, I can't find what I need in a hurry on the Voyager, Iridium, Omnisphere, Trilium, etc. AND when I don't need it, it's all I come across, haha.

He's using Midjourney to create his visual art. There was a Twitch stream of him working with it about 3 weeks ago. I think a problem with making prints from it would be that the images aren't usually high enough resolution.
@@David_K_Booth I use Topaz AI to render much higher resolution images than the original size MidJourney spits out :)
@@stateazure Exactly - I do the same. Render in MJ as large as possible at the right aspect ratio, then upload into Topaz Gigapixel AI to upscale to taste. Just be aware which upscaling model you use as some oversharpen the result by default.

How to make rain fx on video?
ActionFX have free vids of rain etc sometimes, I use those and set overlay in my video editor to 'Soft Light'

From Explosions, Fire and Smoke, Muzzle Flashes and Bullet shells and ...) etc. They give away freebies on rotation.

I very rarely have all of my synths turned on so my energy use is fairly low. This track doesn't use any of the hardware synths, except the Virus, the rest is done with VSTs. There's recent videos showing all the synths running during some livestreams, but again, that's pretty rare :) I don't think I have a lot of gear really, it probably just looks that way when listed. My studio is a small bedroom :)
