Damn you have to be quick to hear it first! It was only uploaded 11 minutes ago and i'm like #46! Sounds great - im always a sucker for 50s movie dialogue over pads.
The depth of the sounds of space and the light sound of the melody take you to the distant spaces of our Universe! Thanks for letting me in on this! With love and gratitude to all living beings!🤍🔥
just bought it in bandcamp, i do not need to listen to it previosly, i know is going to be marvellous at least, the album cover looks like a photo taken by james webb telescope.. as a telecomunication engineer i find fascinating technology used in satelites or synths ...after listening to it what can i say, nothing takes me more near the stars than this music... reminds me of carl sagan with vangelis music....both Carl Sagan an Vangelis had a big influence in me... with them science was something marvellous and not boring...i am sure i am an engineer because of them...
This album is amazing. My gal and I sat and listened to this start to finish. Simply gorgeous stuff. The thing that blows my mind the most is your understanding of frequencies. By the time a new sound moves in, plenty of room has already been left for it. There is so much space in these songs. Apartment 0306 is simply beyond words.
Eveningwalk on the beach in south france right now.. this wonderfull piece of music and the rough sea. It brings peace in my life. thank you for that @stateazure
To those who don't know : Total Recall happened on November 5th, 2022, somewhere around 7:00PM central US time. And the Wolkenstein Moon (pronounced Volkinshtine) rose on November 11, 2022.
Absolutely killing it every time. You inspired me to start creating ambient music myself, and when I'm not doing that, right now it's playing Stellaris vibing out to this while conquering the galaxy. 🛸
"The doctors say they must operate soon, but there's no knowing what they'll find when they open up the wound - I will meet you on the other side of the moon."
Simply fantastic! Sounds, harmony, structure, arpeggiators, volumes, effects, pauses, melodies orchestrated by a superior mind! Here we are at the umpteenth evolution of Blade runner! The vision of a fast-flowing future in the universe, far from Our Earth. Congratulations master and greetings from Italy!
I REALLY like this. Of course that should be no shock, since I badger you about more early Berlin school TDream cover material. You have definitely placed yourself at a level right there with the best TDream work. I won't say you're "The Goat", but that's just out of respect for the late master. ;-)
Hi sir ! Great sound as usual 😊 perhaps one of my favorite right now (i love cyberpunk ambiance 😅) Would you consider making some vinyls ? I would be so amazing to have your musics in my collection, just between Tangerine Dream and Vangelis records…❤
Thanks! I wish that were possible, I'd love to have all my music on vinyl and cd but that's not such an easy thing for an individual artist with little time to manage.
While I'd rather be elsewhere to properly enjoy this, sitting at work listening through headphones to your beautiful creation certainly elevates my mood and consciousness. Not sure the rest of this office would appreciate it if I found a way to exposes them to it :D By the way, thanks for including the livestream track starting around 30:00 (The titular Pale Light of the Hollow Moon I think?), it just seems to speak to me?!
Glad you enjoyed it, Stewart. That track was one of my favourites that I came up with during the recent streams, so I decided to make it the title track :)
You mean the arrangements? or actually planning to create a track from scratch? If the latter, I very rarely ever plan tracks, most of the time they come about from improvising.
@@starsky101 No, I never plan chord progressions etc, as I say I just improvise and build up tracks that way. The transitions between tracks for this particular mix was also mostly improvised, but had a loose plan in how I wanted those transitions to sound. Since I can't read/write music, it's a bit hard to plan a lot of things, so I improvise and feel my way through most of this.
I know you have a lot of gear - but you should look at the GFI pedals. Spectral V3 Reverb (not made anymore) and replaced by the Spectral Tempus. I like the Spectral V3 reverb more, but they say the Tempus has all the same algorithms in it. The reverbs to my ear are unique. I have the Strymon Big Sky and never use it. GFI sounds so much better and unique. Love your music. It keeps me company during long sessions of computer work. Thank you, much.
This art is unbelievable. They are actual voyages IMO. I was wondering, for most of the obviously free form compositions is there an actual time signature. I know parts can be measured without strictly conforming to any kind of clock. Or it is it more like a wide open where you're working on a sort of borderless cavas?..♨️
Much like the canvas you mentioned. There's a lot of improvisational material here, where I don't use any kind of grid or quantization, I just play/record, continue to add layers etc
Aha. Brilliant as always. 👍
Love you, man. Earthbound life is better with your noises. 🙏🏼
Dream music. Like a soft blanket that wraps you securely while you float above clouds.
On all day and night 24/7 😊

41 mins in, I thought the car was gonna run me over!
Exactly! So am I. Love that old sci-fi dialogue.
That car passing by actually did the same to me believe it or not!

EXACTLY!! what she said 🪐🪐🪐🌠🌌
I appreciate that you included the mouse mat at the end of the gear list. People need to know these details. ;)
Crucial gear! I have two now, should probably buy a third once I can afford it :)

Me too, Igor! Always been a big fan of both those geniuses. Glad you're enjoying the album!
My baby sleep with your music! Thx! I also enter in electronic music few weeks ago, i but a Behringer crave, volca drum and a guitar pedal
This is truly beyond, Pat! Wow! Love the colours of the album art - the title - everything! Once again, you gift our ears with true beauty and art 😊💙
Thank you :)
One of my favorite movies.
46:00 no way, it became a track on an album. Was hoping it'd be released some day. Thanks!
The first minutes are amazeballs 😎😎

Thanks so much, I'm glad you both enjoyed the album. Nice to hear from someone that also appreciates the mixing involved :)
@@stateazure Seriously, I don't even understand how you do it. It's all just crystal clear.

Another lovely one, they've got style! ♫

Cheers mate!
Absolutely outstanding work. Top notch stuff
Pure sleepery. Flight mode🔥🔥
had a bit of a break. can t stay away from this quality ambient stuff. keep up the excellent new ideas
If there was ever an album that deserved its own Deus Ex sequel, it's this one.
Masterful!
I'd be listening to this music all day.
This is bloody amazing
Brilliant ❤

Love this sound! I've got some catching up to do over at #BandCampFriday. Thanks for all the awesomeness, State.

Amazing mix !
The beginning of minute 50 remindes me of the Riven OST
Awesome ambientness, I’d love to know how you plan your tracks
You mean the arrangements? or actually planning to create a track from scratch? If the latter, I very rarely ever plan tracks, most of the time they come about from improvising.
@@stateazure I guess a bit of both, do you plan out the chord progressions and how all the tracks cross fade between each other?

Eventide Space was my favourite reverb pedal I ever owned. But most of the time I actually use Valhalla reverb plugins!
@@stateazure I like the Shimmer and the VintageVerb but I think you would find something new and unique in the GFI outboard reverbs.

well crafted textures - it was a sonic story. really loved the bass from 17:51-22:56 - how low can you go? great job! will be buying this

😄
1:13:44 ... I love that sound. What is it, a sampled singing bowl or something?
It may have been from Chromophone 3 ie physical modelling rather than sampled. But this sound also exists in sample format, in Omnisphere for example.
@@stateazure Thanks!
