  • Cycling Might Have Just Reached A CAFFEINE CLIMAX
Cycling teams and their riders have been using Caffeine for years, and know very well how to get those kicks out of it. And that’s why now, cyclists are exploring "smart drugs" and trying out different ways of dosing, just to find a new way of getting that ever sought for buzz. But despite all this, it seems like cycling might have maxed out when it comes to Caffeine. So has cycling really reached a Caffeine climax, or is there still more room for improvement?

Gym bros watching this and are like, "Welcome to the party pal!" Find yourself a preworkout that responds well with your gut and add a few scoops to your bottle.

I was able to kick out tobacco, alcohol, and reefer. Not so caffeine. The withdrawal headache is unbearable

Those smart drugs aka racetam family of drugs and similar compounds do work very effectively. Apart from amphetamines, nothing can beat racetams.

I think the narator just found out that cyclists like coffee, energy drinks and other means of consuming caffeine. Trouble is, we have been doing for as long as bikes were around.

Watts does not know why caffeine was removed from the doping list. Watts does not know that higher amounts of caffeine do not improve performance more than very low levels of caffeine in endurance athletes - the sorts of levels that would get a rider to test positive from eating regular foods (caffeine is found in at least 60 raw food ingredients). Watts does not know that over-regular consumption of caffeine decreases its effectiveness. Watts does not know that the body reduces its capacities due to over-regular consumption of caffeine - this means that a low consumer of caffeine will get a boost from caffeine (i.e. move from normal without caffeine to boosted with caffeine) whereas an over-regular consumer of caffeine only moves from a depressed (without caffeine) to a normal state (with caffeine) as the body has down-regulated its functions to cope with the constant caffeine stimulation. However, going cold turkey and only using caffeine for events has its negatives as the body is systemically unprepared to deal properly with caffeine and it's metabolites as caffeine is processed (btw it's not caffeine that provides ergogenic aid, but its metabolites as it gets broken down into non-poisonous byproducts - yes, caffeine is a drug/poison - and these metabolites do various things to different parts of the body - energy release systems, cyclic-ATP for the heart, specific receptors in the brain, etc. This knowledge is decades old.
