Sounds a bit raspy. Sxth was the only one making a dp with a cat I think. But they stopped. I'm not sure if any other company makes a catted dp for the EN. Being catless makes it more raspy. I'm also surprised there isn't really any turbo whistle. Back in the day I had a srt4. Once I went after market exhaust and dp the turbo whistle was orgasmic.

That's why I'm hesitant to get an exhaust for my EN cause I don't hear much difference in sound from the stock exhaust and also no turbo whistling. Maybe I need to hear it in person🤔
@dreamy.insomnia the best difference in exhaust sound that I've heard in real life is the AFE catback. It's 3" all the way and sounds a tad louder than stock, but the magic is how deliciously deep it sounds more than stock. Takes all the 4 cylinder rasp and pitch out and sounds deep, and thick.

Did it make more boost afterwards?
Hit 20 for a split second when launching the car but other than that I noticed it octane learned easier
I couldn't deal with catless dp smell on my 435i. Be aware of that smell it can be really strong

I don’t remember I had the shop do it. But from what I heard, it’s basically hell.
Can you hear the turbo at idle?
A but yeah and I start to hear it more going through parking lots after I let off throttle

I can see why some go that way. Your biggest jumps are going from untuned to tuned and stage 1 (no mods or intake only) to s2/3 (downpipe, fmic, or even wmi). That, coupled with the fact the wheels on it are capable...it's totally viable to do other stuff first.
