    This is much more higher than 60,000 feet, this is at 90,000 feet and it has been confirmed!

      Confirmation is equivalent to a blue check mark. The moon was confirmed as well and we can’t recreate it. The twin towers were confirmed to fall down from to airplanes and a third one fell anyways. Stop living in la la land.

    Less humans have done a feat like that than have gone into outer space. Much less. The 2nd most rare is visiting the bottom of the Marina Trench. Much respect for going for it. Must be something to tell your grandkids how you broke Mach 1 in just a pressure suit and lived to tell about it. And talked thru it by the USAF 1st pioneer himself! And this record has already been surpassed. The Human spirit of pushing the envelope!

    Oh, for crissake, he wasn't anywhere near space. He was in the stratosphere. Great achievement, but let's not misrepresent it. He got to 39 km above earth's surface; the Karman line, which is conventionally used to mark the edge of space, is at 100 km.

    just think of the accomplishment and daring of Colonel Joseph William Kittinger II who jumped 102,000 feet in 1960 long before any real technology and long before anyone knew what would happen.
    That guy is the real hero to me.

      He actually reached supersonic speed on his way down! At that altitude, there is very little air resistance. So by the time he reached the denser atmosphere, he was falling at supersonic speed. Just imagine how hilarious it would be to hear a sonic boom and it's not from a spacecraft or a jet...it's from some GUY!

      @@sebastiannolte1201 i have seen plenty of hip hop videos with such a camera lense lol... just dont understand the neccesity for pretty much every "edge of space" camera to be equipped with one.. especially considering that at least 15 different camera angles are being used in the 4 minute video and ofcourse only the one that looks back at earth has "such a camera lense".. where they just feeling artistic where they? hahahah.. also there are wide angle camera lenses for less then $600 that give the same field of view without the warping of a fish eye..

    Space is 100 KM. Felix made it all the way to 39 KM, Alan Eustice made it to 41.2 KM Neither of them made it close to space

      HE LANDED IN THE DESERT AND WAS GREETED BY ANY AND EVERY POSSIBLE SUPPORTER AND HELPER THAT HE COULD EVER WISH FOR.. EVEN THE ONES HE DID NOT REQUIRE.. IT WAS SETUP BY REDBULL (AND IT WAS SICKENINGLY BORING AND PREDICTABLE....)
