Awesome guys!!! I watched True Blood in real time back when it first aired and for Halloween of 2012, I was Sookie! I bought the Merlotte’s T-shirt, wore a waist apron, fairy wings & donned a blond wig and had bloody fang marks on my neck. Love seeing the filming locations!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

One of my all time fave scenes from True Blood, when Jessica is returned to Bill. Not even Eric and Pam can handle her. She sees Bill again and says "Hi Daddy." He voice just drips snark. Oh what a show! 💝

True Blood is one of my favorite shows. I’m rewatching it as we speak and currently starting S4. It blows my mind that you have been able to track these locations down.

Never seen tru blood , but I live in Shreveport, and their are alot of historic mansions around, especially on Fairfield Ave., that one looks kinda like it's somewhere around downtown area , i believe, not the best part of town , but ,it was different im sure back in the 1800's

I love those homes. And the mansions are there because of the cotton and the money from all the things back in the day. Many people built those huge homes to show their wealth and status. Some of them were owned by plantation owners. And there were slaves in many of them until the Civil War. (I'm a historian and Antebellum South, Slavery, and Texas was my concentration). I also write vampire novels and I got to meet the author of the Southern Vampire Series (that True Blood was made from), Charlaine Harris, at a convention. I was on the vampire panel with her and two others. When she walked into the room, she smiled at me and said "So you're the other Charlaine." Because my name is Charlayne, just spelled different but pronounced the same. I don't fan-girl often because I know so many authors and actors but I was really excited to meet her and in my head I kept saying "OMG, that's Charlaine Harris." Usually at these panels, they introduce the guest of honor first and then work down to the "also-rans." I'm usually in that last spot. I was still fan-girling then the moderator pointed at me and asked me to introduce myself (first!!). I opened my mouth and said "Hi, I'm Charlaine Harris." and promptly wanted to slide out of my wheelchair and under the table. Everyone laughed, including her. The next two people (both guys) introduced themselves as Charlaine Harris, then their names, and then she said "Hi, I'm the real Charlaine Harris." After it was over, I went to apologize and she laughed and said it was the funniest thing that ever happened in a convention. I have a photo of both of us together.
Damn! I wish I knew you guys were here. I have a gift I've been meaning to send to you guys for about a year but held off hoping I could possibly give it to you guys in person one day lol. It's a handmade Voodoo doll lol. Also, sadly the light above the bar hasn't worked in years. They were still open a couple years ago though. Haven't driven past it recently enough to take notice. They aren't boarded up though. Those doors are just security doors because of the area and robbery issues in the past.
When traveling to Shreveport did you pass through Texarkana, TX/AR?

I don’t think Jessica uses anything...they just fit her teeth well
My teeth were custom made to snap onto my real teefs, for the store bought kind denture creams are nice, like fixadent. Just use very tiny amounts because it’s meant to be long lasting. The fellow that made my teeth is in New York

It was a decent show... It definitely had it's misses and hits. But there was characters that kept me in interest. Not to good of a finale tho.. I guess it was ok and Im sure they wanted it to mellow...but still. I question the whole last season... I think the whole thing could of been a little better.

I rewatch every few summers, it's always a summer show for me. And you're totally right, I end up skipping through some of the character's story lines and I think most of the last two seasons :/
