Not surprised that the fate of Khaenri'ah wouldn't be exposed so quickly. The fact that Azhdaha wasn't a simple evil monster, but literally had a hidden good side, I think foreshadows that things won't be black and white in the future.
Also, Zhongli's reaction seems kinda... muted? Like yeah, he knows of Khaenri'ah's downfall but to him it's just another war in a long line of wars in Teyvat. There's so many secrets to be found throughout thousands of years, and all of them need to be found to have a real clear picture.

Khaenri'ah was probably destroyed for the good of the world. They probably didn't just want to defeat the gods but rule the whole world and destroy the peace. Thats my guess why the archons agreed with the gods. Gods kinda like olympus and the archons are demi gods.
@@tobeymontemayor316 I too kinda lean towards Khaenri'ah being a dangerous existence, though I'm sure they probably felt they were doing what they thought was right, same as the gods. I'm sure that kind of moral ambiguity was common in the wars that Rex Lapis fought in, which is why he encourages the Traveler to "see the world with eyes unclouded by hate", to borrow from Princess Mononoke.
From the next content of Inazuma being that we are likely to know the reason why Baal has confisctated visions and now Aether has met Lumine his goal has changed and now he is set to travel the world to unravel the truth if Teyvat Sumeru the next stop is a hotspot for Fatui experiments and the former Archon died 500 years ago basically the same time the cataclysm happened no idea what Fontaine and Natlan has to cover but things are lining up now

I already can tell he won’t tell us anything ever since the Archon quest. He’ll say anything except the Celestia-related issues and the reason behind giving his gnosis to the Fatuis. I already know the answer yet I’m still disappointed.
Animation is always easier to handle since it's pre render. The same as how you watch anime on your phone. They practically just play a video during that time

Zhongli doesn't have any death flags on him lmao unlike venti zhongli keeps saying he'll watch over the history of mankind and so did azdaha said that to him aswell watching eternally since he's an immortal and currently the oldest archon aswell the one that has survived the longest.

in that quest azdaha an immortal himself probably older zhongli since he's part of the earth consistently said to zhongli and he'll a live long time and zhongli himself said he'll be watching the rise and fall of mankind(basically implied he's gonna live a long ass time and witness everything) and azdaha literally he said "you may live forever doomed to a lonely existence" and he again said "I will go on infinite flow of time and morax you will also many a day come" that basically removes all his death flags lmao.
Zhongli is likely going to be the last OG archon standing because of the fact that he is now a less threat to Celestia unless is he is held hostage which is unlikely Venti on the other hand has his statue stolen turned into a ritual and is so oblivious and vulnerable to danger that Celestia have a likelyhood to take out whoever the weakest link is to the archon now
That was a sick as cutscene and I'm coming here just to experience it again.

Man Zhongli story is just sad asf
To put it simply, azhdaha was once a geo life form that used to live under liyue. He was blind untill morax gave him eyes. They come to a agreement, azhdaha can live with people above ground. But, if he tried to attack people and brought ruin to order, he will be sealed once more. Azhdaha live peacefully with people until one day, people started harvesting ley lines. Azhdaha, being a elemental being suffered greatly because of this. He endured the suffering for thousands of years until he finally can't no more. He then broke the contract and attacked people in order to reduce his suffering. Morax, being the god of contract has no mercy for azhdaha and he followed the contract. He then sealed up azhdaha. But, one day azhdaha tried to kidnap miners form the chasm to 'try to break the seal from the front'. The dragon Azhdaha than 'broke the seal from the inside'. He attacked the seal from the front and the back in order to break it easier. But then, he was stopped again by zhongli and kun jun. Because azhdaha broke the contract, he split into 2 parts. A yin and a yang. Kunjun is the yang Energy and the dragon azhdaha is the yang energy. The 'yang' azhdaha then helped morax to beat the 'yin' azhdaha

@Lalazee X i wouldnt hold my breath abt venti tbh. It would be nice to hear smth from him but it doesnt seem like he is that much involved in all this. Plus i wouldnt say mondstadt is necessarily more tied to celestia than liyue considering the amount of godlike presence in liyue (the adepti, all the creatures that zhongli sealed away etc.), there is chasm too that remains locked. tho i agree abt khaenriah. i think they might have been a neighbour to mondstadt considering all the spiral abyss theories and how its on an island near mondstadt or how much tech from khaenriah has "wandered" to mondstadt (ruin guards for instance), how kaeya was sent to mondstadt as a spy etc. it would make sense why the abyss started there, slowly making their way through the whole teyvat while having mondstadt as their home base of some sort.

interesting. yeah, the theories could be possibly true that the archons played a role in khaenri'ah's destruction 500 years ago, and zhongli's a bit hesitant to admit his role that he might've regret taking part in.
Khaenri'ah is no saint either. They called those ruin guard "plow". So, they expand their territory by steam rolling other nations. The Celastria is already piss off, and the expansionism from Khaenri'ah just give them a perfect excuse to drop the hammer. I think neither side is good. But at the end, winner takes all.
@@user-jh6vt8vx4v Khaneriah had that ability to take over parts of nations so they assumed that they are scard that the whole Teyvat is now under Khaenriah so they just dropped the ball and destroyed that nation but that will likely backfire in whatever the plan Lumine has they are just surprised that a no God nation has capabilities to be as strong or even stronger than other nations in Teyvat
Tbh, Zhongli doesn’t sound hesitant for the role he covered, but for a contract he made. He seems bound to silence. Maybe he was also forced to play a part in Kaenri’ah’s destruction (“it was signed before it all began”). But ofc everything atm is pure speculation.

I guess that sums it up, the archons did participate in what happened to kaenriah.
Zhongli was contracted by celestia to do it. Knowing zhongli he did not want to do it but had no choice to since it was a contract. As for venti we have yet to know his motovations as to why he did that. Its also possoble that he did it because of durin who attacked monsdath, but vengeance seems out of character for venti. Hopefully in the eula quest we meet venti and get answers

I feel like the archons are scared of celestia. If they mention it even once what happened 500 years ago celestia might punish them or the land they are protecting. Notice how venti and zhongli are hesitant to talk about it Hence, the catyclysm was erased from history books as if kaenriah never existed. This is getting exciting and venti , zhongli are really sus right now after the quest. We will find more answers in inazuma after we help Ayaka and rebel vision users overthrow the electro archon who is a tyrant/ dictator of inazuma. There was a rumor that inazuma's story would revolve around a civil war/ revolution against the electro archon.
