If you look closely you can see quite a few players smiling during the battle theme section. They are having a fantastic time shredding this song, especially during the back half of the theme. Damn I'd be goin nuts on the viola right along with them. Lol

Fun fact: Part of the soundtrack of this game was composed and recorded in Abbey Road studios. They've got a short behind the scenes video on their youtube channel where they talk about the creation of the soundtrack for this region.
I recommend the Scaramouche boss theme next. It has a completely different flavour from the pieces you've reacted to so far, but it is honestly one of my favourite themes in the entire game, it's an absolute masterpiece. If you do react, make sure you've got a video with all the phases and not just the final phase.

2nd one is one of the 6 battle themes of sumeru. And the 1st one is the general theme of sumeru. Like i don't think it plays in game but rather different parts of that ost are explored more and then those play in game(not sure though). Overall, almost 60% of sumeru is out and it has 6 hours of ost tracks combined. Rest of sumeru will be released later this year(actually another part is getting released in a few days) and hopefully will further expand the music of sumeru. I think the whole ost of sumeru will have 300 tracks making it 8-9 hours worth sumeru playlist.

Sumeru region is based on Indian and middle eastern(arabic/persian/Egyptian) moslty on this 4 culture but also little bit of some other middle east countries culture mixed in Turkish/Armenian and north Africa
    The forest Indian/Persian mainly
The desert Arabic/Egyptian/other middle east cultures mainly
    Other instruments
4:53 and 2:45 Mandolin and Mandola both were used
5:14 left man holding Acoustic Guitar
    13:39 Bouzouki(Greece)
So the traditional instrument u see are from this culture
    5:30 oud (Arab)
    5:35 Ney(Egyptian)
    5:43 sitar (Indian)
    Percussion:
6:21 From top to (left to right)percussion
    Riq(Arab),Caxixi(African),Daff(Persian)
6:21 bottom to ( left to right)
    Darbuka(Egyptian),lady using Naqareh(middle east)
6:46 the percussion laying on ground behind the lady is Tabl Baladi maybe
6:38 santur(Persian) dulicmer is literally derived from this one santur is ancient
    7:15 Duduk(Armenian)
8:14 the lady with white dress holding Tanpura(Indian)
10:00 Baglama (Saz) Turkish but popular all over middle east
The bottom guy playing darbuka is Mr Kuljit Bhamra credited for traditional Folk Instruments Supervisor for the Sumeru album
Every instrument here except Indian one are used/shared all over middle east music
And there are even more traditional instrument in other sumeru region songs 😊Bansuri(indian flute),Tabla and dholak (indian percussion), veena (indian)
    Kanun(arabic)
    Tombak(persian percussion)
Erhu(chinese)used in some desert tracks and tignari theme
There are some more instrument which i am familiar with kamanja, tanbur someone mentioned i think
    Hope this helps
Sumeru is definitely my fav region just because of this cultural diversity of music

If you like Genshin music, here is what you can listen to :
    3 concerts :
    - Reflexion of Spring (Liyue - China) 24 min
    - Melodies of an endless Journey 2021 1h43
    - Melodies of an endless Journey 2022 1h14
5 boss music : Tartaglia, Azhdaha, Signora, Raiden Shogun, Scaramouche
"Realm of tranquil eternity" 10 min - same kind of video than Sumeru but with music from Inazuma (Japan)
Amound the many soundtracks we have, I would suggest "Hustle and Bustle of Ormos"(Sumeru) and "Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie"

He knew minimal about the instruments including the traditional western instruments and gave very little commentary. There was very little insight into any of the actual music production or orchestration. I am only writing this comment because he is soliciting services but doesn’t seem to add any value or knowledge on the video he is reacting to. And now that I have made this concerning comment I will still watch more videos to investigate this channel further. hello, middle easterner here, the lute instrument is called "oud"
the flute right afterwards is called " Ney"
the one with the hammer is called "qanun" but not entireely sure as I have only seen it playing with hands like you would play a harp, also @12:22, the percussion instrument with a blue tone is called " Derbakke" where i am from but other places in the region also call it "Tabla"

And that instrument is persian Santur

@@aethernity8270 @aethernity8270 "Hammered dulcimers of various types are now very popular not only in China, but also Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, Iran, and Pakistan. The instruments are also sometimes known by the names "santoor" and "cymbalom". This instrument had an influence on the Thai classical instrument, known as Khim (ขิม).
Another theory of how the yangqin came into contact with the Chinese is through the Silk Road from Mongolia. At a glance, the Silk Route stretches almost 5,000 miles reaching from China to the Middle East, including Iran (Persia). The Iranian santur, a dulcimer, has existed since ancient times. If any dulcimer was to influence China by land, it is likely to be this instrument.
The technical structure of the santur is different in the way the tuning pegs are place, the bridges and the mallets. The yangqin's tuning pins are set in parallel instead of a 90-degree angle down at the side. The mallets of the santur also differ from those of the yangqin - they are made of wood with finger grip, designed to let the players perform by gripping the two mallets between their fore and middle fingers. Both modern and earlier yangqin mallets did not include finger grips.
The bridge of the yangqin consist of long, single pieces of wood with many protruding "stubs" supporting the strings unlike the santur, which uses a number of small, individual chesspiece-like bridges."
So unless you are the actual person playing the instrument in the piece, it is difficult to definitely differentiate between the instruments. I as well initially suspected it was Yangqin but at a closer shot it looked more like the Santur from the grips on the mallets. Either way, there is no need to be rude by flat out saying 'wrong' because the Yangqin does exist and it is logical to think it was as there is an Erhu present as well. There are ways to correct and contribute to discussion in a polite way where everyone can benefit and learn.
