- The newest fidget-able roundhouse kick of a knife is the Truffles, from upstart AKAT. Is it the best truffle cutting knf you can buy? I have no idea. In this video I discuss @aurora_knife_and_tool Truffles, the mushroom, the knife and more. The new lock is the roundhouse lock which is an awesome button lock that you can pop and kick and flick. The kickstarter was so successful it funded in just a single day. I'm excited, are you excited? The lock deployment reminds me of the Paul knife manufactured by Lone Wolf Knives. Too bad they missed the chance to complete the cover plate for the vacant clip position.
Yeah the Paul Knife definitely has a similar look to it, though the axial lock operates pretty differently. But both interesting ways to solve the same problem! And we’ll definitely have a clip filler on the production version! 🤘🏻🤓
