Today we put WW1 / WW2 tanks and planes against Modern tanks and planes while outnumbered to see how well they can do against each other in War Thunder. How well can 1920s-1930s tech do against modern tech? You might be surprised but let’s find out.

I think the AB 41 and the L6 are the best reserve vehicles, they absolutely slaughter everything at 1.0. This high however, probably the swedish because of their APDS

The modern faction doesn’t remotely need that many planes in the sky. They implored the wrong strategy.
2 A-10s and 1 F-16 would shred
A single F-111 Advaark could basically carpet bomb all the way from the capture point to the spawn
The A-10 could just BRRRRRRTTT all the enemies (and then drop 6 2.000 lbs bombs on them)
F16 and MiG-29SMT guided bombs bombing
Su-39 is F-111 and MiG-29 together
Anyways, they just need a SPAA and to camp the point (and use more HE/HEAT bullets, AP bullets and things like that would over penetrate reserve tanks)

I don’t know what they think, bringing biplanes without bombs into the fight. However, we got an He 51 C1 kill and I am most proud of this guy
Feels more like a GATE scenario, but it's modern nations with their vehicles and equipment up against 1930s era equipment and weapons.
there's LN similar to GATE but instead of gate to isekai, whole japan got isekaid and iirc there's an arc where they fight ww2 tech nations, it's called nihonkoku shoukan

A video idea that i think is great is battling on custom made maps with only MBTS or heavy tanks or light tanks or any tank or even country vs country.

sweden for reserve is defenetly the best choice I think for top tier merkavas would probably go well because of lot of empty space
I think it'd be cool to allow some slightly higher tier vehicles for the reserve guys, like 2.7-3.3 to get some decent tank destroyers or something

Why does everybody always overlook the italians. A 20mm autocannon is nothing to scoff at, and armor is worthless anyways. Plus their biplanes get 2 .50s

btw the Swedish reserve tier vehicles are from the late 40's to early 50's

И при всем при этом в это же время будет происходить сражение русских кораблей с немецкими 5v5
Буду очень благодарен если сделаете, ведь тогда мне будет гораздо легче написать фанфик. В котором и будет описываться подобная битва.

Realistically Sweden shouldn’t have been used for low tier as there “reserve tanks” where used during the 60-70’s.
Strv M/1938 was used until 1957 in a training role and Strv M/1931 was used until 1940.

I wish the modern side had thought to bring an apache or some other "fuck you" level long range helicopter. That's what would really start causing problems.
As for the reserve side, I want to see what it would look like if they all just spammed their artillery in the general vicinity of the enemy lol
The Ka-50/52 could absolutely slaughter these vehicles with its gun alone, probably even from outside of their MG range.
Also surprised none of the reserve side brought any of the 150mm SPGs.

The old is slightly better because they swarm like bees in a large scale map because it can go for a million different places to hide but the other modern tanks a spin ther turrets faster and one shot them
