    This is the soap I want to make for my first batch of soap. Different colors but the same design. Thank you so much.

    This video still appears on my feed so I decided to try it and the design worked beautifully. Thanks so much for the idea. Of course, you got the credit for the design.

    OMG! I was so excited to find this vid! Have been making CP for a little over a year now, but it was your "Lovin Soap" website that was literally what taught me how to make soap from my very first batch! I found as a "self-taught" soapmaker, there was A LOT of conflicting info out there, so every time I'd do a google search to learn something new, I ALWAYS stuck with the Lovin Soap website to teach me what I wanted to know! I was so happy to watch this vid & see the soapmaker & face behind the wonderful website that taught me how to make soap!! Now that I've evolved to more advanced techniques, this video tutorial was GREAT! Thank you SO MUCH for offering your wisdom & knowledge and paving the way for new soapmakers to continuously improve!

    I absolutely love the black and white along with the pink. Very girly, my kind of soap. I just found your Channel today and have watch two videos and they both been great. I hope to learn more from you as I go into soap making. Why beer has always been causing an explosion with the lye. Lol My grandmother used to use a big cauldron pot that she rendered down her fats from her animals on her Homestead that went onto freezer camp. They were nothing fancy but they sure did the job and after running and playing in the weeds in the rambles all day long I'm in trees, yes I was a tomboy at one time LOL. Grandma would always put oatmeal in her soaps. What a soothing feeling that was to take away all the itches and all the bug bites from playing in the woods. Mosquitoes were horrible but Grandma's soaps always made them better. She also made her own candles, and that was fascinating to me. she made taper candles because they lasted longer then you're two and three wick candles did. And light was always more focused with one larger flame than a bunch of smaller flames. thank you for the great video you brought back some memories of me and my cousins in our summer time escapades. take care and God bless Deb

    Again I'm sitting here instead of sleeping watching your videos I love the way you present them in a way that teaches those of us that are just starting the techniques you speak as a teacher rather than as a professional soap maker which you are of course but that would be way over our heads in the beginning I am in love with your soaps and your videos and feel then I am learning so much and feel much more confident now and trying another batch of soap do you have a video on cleaning and prepping your soaps?

    • @aglovinsoap

      Kim, which oil did you use? Castor oil soaks in and is completely dry to the touch. (At least all mine have been.) Other oils don't soak in like castor, especially something like glycerin. That doesn't soak in at all.

    Love it! I've been on your website for weeks now and it just occurred to me this morning that I hadn't checked out CZcams to find your videos. So glad I'm on-board now. New subscriber! Question: could you do the glitter swirl on top with sweet almond oil as well?

    • @aglovinsoap
      @aglovinsoap  Před 6 lety +1

      You could! But the almond oil doesn't soak in like the castor oil and some people have said that it leaves an oil slick... So maybe give it a try and see. But I prefer castor because it soaks in so well. :)
