- My name is Tammy. I struggle with too many mental issues, lol, but don't we all? On this channel I document most of my struggles. CZcams helps me to be able to vent and talk about what's going on and how I feel. I consider my channel to be a mental health recovery channel. I'm also trying to lose weight in the process. Come along and let's strive to be the best versions of ourselves!

Body dysmorphia- Tammy, I've lost 175 lbs over the last 4, almost 5 now, years, and the body changes can be really hard, a lot of us that have been big for most of our lives go through this and it can be rough in particular when I'm having a bad time because it will drive me towards food because while I want to be healthy it's hard to not look like myself. Just wanted to say I completely understand what you are talking about. I love to sew and draw as well. I paint rocks (I know, sounds silly) and I will leave them in the park when I walk for kids to find because if I kept them all they would overtake the house, it's one of the ways I distract myself from eating, hobbies help so much. Love your channel and please keep doing your vlogs, I really enjoy them.

The first to go when I'm depressed is my routine too, except for work as I can't change that schedule that much. I feel so gross when I wake up at 11 AM and don't do much through the day, but there's always a new day tomorrow.

I really like the content with your surroundings, dykes and flood plains and willow harvesting. Also fun seeing your sewing and drawing.
Really enjoyed the footage of the NL countryside...and the commentary regarding how building dykes are a buffer from the rising waters! Also, the willow harvesting...very beautiful!

Have a good weekend. Loved the willow comments. I was always told they drink alot of water which is why you see them around ponds or lakes. I always aired the way they move in the wind. Always good to have you drop in.

I know I'm late to comment, but I really enjoy learning more about the Netherlands whenever you want to show us something. I had no idea your country used dikes as flood control. It was really interesting to learn and see. Also, great job on your weight loss journey! We're all so happy for you!

I didnt know that about the Netherlands. Loved learning that bit of geography. The hamster hammock was incredible. It would be neat if you could somehow make a huge one for the cats, though hanging it could be very tough lol.

I loved the hamster hammock you made, how creative! Also, thanks for showing and explaining the dikes. I'm from US, we don't have dikes, so it was nice to learn about them.
Some areas here have levees, which seems kind of similar to the dike you showed. It's like a man made hill along bodies of water that are prone to flooding. It provides an area for the extra water to go when a river rises to help protect surrounding areas 🙂

Hi Tammy and kitties. When I was your age I used to be a shoe hoe lol, yes I was. Loved my shoes, once having 90 pairs. Now I've become a minimalist and absolutely love this way of life and now regret all the money wasted on nonsense, certainly way more than I would ever need in ones lifetime. Once I bought two pairs of heels, one costs me 1500. and another 2300. and purses with all matching wallet and key fob etc. how much I regret that. I wish when I was your age I had the sense and maturity you have. I'd be so much better off now. I was a jewelry designer so back then I lived a good life, money no object, but husband used to say, "stop being a Jones like your friends", he was very humble and smart.

are you USED to paying over $6 USD per gallon of gasoline?? I took the calculations of liters and price per liter and converted to gallons/USD ... that's nuts man... where I am, liter would come out to be maybe 1.13EU or something like $4 and change per gallon. Sorry but that price struck me as odd and I'm a numbers person 😂
