I would love a video that shows your top cool/neutral/warm face of makeup and a clip so we can see all three faces side by side by side. Would be a great color theory video/and top products for varying looks (lol I not a coral girlie but I still love you)
Fun idea- If you have a video similar to this from a long time ago, compare/contrast the faces of makeup they would make! Have tastes changed? Will you rekindle love? The world needs to know lol
The comment about the eyeliner drying out is soo crucial! Would love a whole video on products that didn’t last. Super important for those of us who want a few products that hold up.
Also note for the Ulta corrector: it often goes on sale for 50% off! Like literally all the time. If it's not a need, wait for a sale and grab it for $5.
Your guilt about picking multiple products was so cute. We all know you are a maximalist and color theory lover, of course your personal collection would have multiples in various categories! I would be concerned if there weren’t multiples lol. Also, if you ever wanted to do a face of your fave fragrance free options that would be amazing because my poor little face can’t handle fragrance 😢
I appreciate your approach to this very much. There is certainly value in the money conscious and/or post apocalyptic mindset of many of these videos, but I appreciate the realism of yours. It’s kind of that thing that HLP often discusses where if you are buying the cheap or simplified versions of what you really want, you are likely to end up unsatisfied and spending much more money in the long run. Great video!
My under eyes have two major problems. 1) they’re so dark against my fair skin that when I put on concealer I look like everybody else does before concealer. And 2) concealers always look absolutely terrible on me. The contrast really shows all my texture. The good news? I tried the ulta beauty under eye corrector after you last mentioned it, and I have never found a better product. Totally seamless. Thank you so much!
I am a medium/tan neutral-toned oily girlie, and it is WILD to me how the Lisa Eldridge skin tint works for truly everyone. She is a master of both formula and color. No notes.
Ohhhh....so good to hear that. I'm biracial and light medium (tan in the summer) neutral with major oily skin. I don't wear foundation bc I hate them all and how thick they feel on me at the end of the day BUT I wonder if a skin tint will NOT feel that way...I'm definitely interested in LE new tint.
@reformingbeauty @nancybagot5700 it is sooo good. I will say around that time of the month when I get more hormonal achne or a bit more oily, I do throw some powder on in the T zone a few hours after application, but usually I can just walk around without any powder
Hi! I've been following your channel for a long time, and I'd love a refreshed take on what you'd pick for wedding makeup! I'm getting married soon and have very similar skin to you both in tone and in dry-ness, and it would be super helpful to get your take on make up you would choose to feel great on your wedding day AND look good in photos.
In her recent video talking about luxury products that are worth the $, she recommends the Surratt & Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow palettes as being incredibly long-wearing - explicitly stating that they're perfect for weddings. But as for the full face of recommendations, I'm not sure what else would make the cut aside from the Baume Essential in "Dragee", hahah
I had to update my insurance which necessitated my making a SPREADSHEET of the value and inventory of everything in both my home/work and salon spaces. It was a literal what if you wake up and everything is gone exercise. My insurance agent didn’t believe it… I had to send pictures to attach to the policy as proof. It’s an exercise I recommend for everyone and -also- if you’re not insured consider doing it.
Hello Kackie. I love the Lisa Eldridge skin tint but too light for me coverage as well. I’m a young 66. Today I mixed 2-3 drops into my Jane iredale BB cream and two swipes of Elf halo glow. Oh my goodness. I hit perfection for me as the Jane Iredale was way too “thick” consistency to me. Very heavy.
I have acne-prone, oily but also dehydrated skin (from using actives to try to keep the acne at bay) and I get on great with the Kosas powder! At 38, I have learned that trying to mattify my skin to death at every step is counter productive and only makes me more oily in addition to dehydrated and peely. You get to a certain age and realize, better to be a bit oily than crusty and dry and old looking 😂
I would love to hear your thinking about your ideal blush color. For years you spoke about petal and Davin’s rose being native. Then you switched to peachy recently with similar labeling. Do you feel like your skin is warmer than you thought or was? It would interesting to see you color analysis yourself with your cast color/art experience.
I love your videos, but this one has been one of my favorites! I just love all the scenarios and the delusion and the justifications 😂 makes it feel much more real ESPECIALLY buying more than 1 product in a category i mean… let’s not lie to ourselves!!
I have an old mini of NARS Behave- it came with a cream stick version and a liquid version of it and it's really a beautiful easy to reach for color. I'm trying not to grab the new formulation until I run out of the old one though because I don't know how worried I really am about talc in my blushes. NARS honestly does blush so well, it's the one thing of theirs I always feel comfortable recommending to anyone! But anyway you definitely put me on to a few of the products in here over the course of me being a viewer- the VB eye liners, the kosas powder, the MBM skin enhancer (I have it in 2 shades, light and light medium), the VB bronzer etc. Can't help but agree with a lot of these. You even reminded me to dust off the CT bronze and glow I have had in my drawer for a while, and I am having a new appreciation for it lately. Great vid once again, Kackie!!
Well, now I’m no longer debating the LE Skin Tint. My stressed skin could use some comfortable makeup. And I’m thinking about RMS Smile. Something I have definitely owned and loved before.
I bought Merit’s single shadows in Studio and Braun perfect combo in my opinion I really love them. Packaging is a little cheap but the product is good 👍🏼👍🏼🤩
So I really appreciate the tip for using the light bronzer for bridging the blush and under eye, although I can’t afford the Victoria Beckham which I’m sure is beautiful I did try the Pat McGrath in an under eye powder in medium because that’s my favorite under eye powder in the lightest shade and it worked really well so thank you for that tip❤
I just love you Kackie. I would cry if I had to start over on my makeup because I pretty much did last year. I did an overhaul when I got back into daily makeup last year. Tossed pretty much everything (it was oooollddd products) and let makeup gurus guide my buying choices. I have been having a blast ... my wallet ... 😂😂😂
I love you because you are just so dang honest… During rosacea flareups I have such a difficult time with enough coverage, but then giving the dry nature of my skin. Everything ends up cakey… I’ve been really apprehensive about trying a skin tint because I think it’s just going to be not enough. Is it even worth me trying the Lisa Eldridge skin tint? How does it stack up against the, Ciele tint, and protect… Or would you recommend that neither of these are for someone with rosacea flares… Really needing your opinion… And thank you for your positive uplifting videos… I always end up getting a chuckle. You’ve never steered me wrong with your recommendations… Please keep the “Sail Cat” around
Thrive Mascara is also my ride or die favorite and I despise any other mascaras now. This one just works exactly as I need it to and doesn’t make a mess when I remove it
Re: VB cinnamon, I know in the past Kackie said she wasn't crazy about the Thrive eyeliners, but I gambled and I really like the color Nalie. Its a little darker than cinnamon looks here but still a warm brown with softness and shimmer. It sets fast but I can smoke it out if I do one eye at a time
Very interesting. You showed a lot of restrain there! I did the exercise a while ago and it totalled to about 1500€ 🙈 And to be honest, if I had to rebuild a stash where I have everything I really love, we’d be closer to 2500€.
Mental exercise suggestion: what wpuld you recommend to a friend living in Florida? London? Mumbai? It might be fun to look at global reach of products and how products work differently in different climates for different lifestyles! Or maybe what You would wear on vacation to these places - in case you needed some esacpism!
Sometimes I do some "girl math" and think of you. 😆 Love the suggestion of adding extra Fix Plus Setting Spray. I never thought about it as setting the powder with a glycerin, etc. layer. That makes so much sense. I would love a video on different time segments. What would you throw on [ skincare & makeup ] in 5, 15, 30 minute segments?
Another fantastic video. I decided to listen to your recommendation on the Tower 28 concealer and picked it up during the Sephora sale and so far it has been wonderful! Thanks Kackie.
I would love to see you do a thought experiment of “if I could only use 3 or maybe 5 brands…these are the brands I would choose and the products I’d have from them”
I loved this video! (and now I guess I will have nightmares of termites in my house, stealing my stuff... I already imagine the "ballet" of spiders in the rooms when we are asleep. And thinking about it, I can't find my Hourglass leopard palette since we moved in, did they take it? )
Well crap. I just bought the Prada foundation and the Cielle skin tint at the Sephora sale after diligently using up some others. Now I really want the Lisa Eldridge because everyone seems to love it!
The VB eyeliners are just incredible. Truly one of the most versatile formulas out there. I agree that if everything goes I would also buy that eyeliner - but it would be Cocoa for me first! I do love Ash too but Cocoa is the one!
Tiny gnomes made off with all your makeup in the night- and you’re in a wedding in Vegas the next day! You’re out of the house, and return to your makeup room to see a family of squirrels has taken over and used everything as nesting material or bathroom material- and you are giving a Ted talk on color theory the next day! Is it the same as everything in this video? Probably, but that was a fun exercise for me!
I LOVE the Sigma color corrector. I have combo skin and it works great for me. I'm almost completely out of my first one and I've already bought a second one.
I just left for a quick 2 night trip...my VB cinnamon and cocoa eyeliners were a MUST bring for me to complete my every day look. I ALMOST brought my Merit shadow but brought VB Trench eyeshadow stick and a Dior quint (just in case). I brought the Sigma corrector, too 😂
The term “mirror of truth” is so real, I never even thought of this before but I have just always instinctively withheld final judgement on any lip product until I see myself in the rear view mirror 😂
Dear Kacky, you are amazing. So refreshing... Thank you for your recommendations. I guess, you could add affiliate links pointing to Europe / UK. I'd definitely use them. :)
loved this video, and i'd love one for your favourite brushes!? where to splurge, which cheapies work, etc. i'd much rather buy makeup than brushes but damn my foundation brush is literally decades old and my crappy amazon set is .. crappy.
Hello! Can you point me in the direction of your video that details how you like to use the VB bronzer brick and why you love it? I did watch your VB brand review but I think that video was more like a first impressions for you❤
Fun idea that is totally different from anything I’ve see you do…. Makeup decades video!! How would you make it work on your skin tone? Not me asking for help with a theme bachelorette weekend….
Kackie out here saving my bank account! 🥳 I will 1,000% just buy the Nars blush instead of trying the Patrick Ta and probably having it end up turning too pink on my skin tone.
I have been using Cloud Paints as my main and sometimes only blushes for 5-7 years precisely because they last FOREVER and I just like... never run out???
Alright yall, what did you get on your bingo cards? i missed the powder blush (expected Flurtatious over Nars) and missed on the cream eyeshadows (expected the two from VB and either a Urban Decay or Boy Tears over Merit and Hourglass) How did everyone else do?
I've been looking for a suitable Nars blush shade for my cool-toned fair skin. And I can't seem to find one that I think would work. And there's no store to go and swatch them on my hand in my city. I'm going by images online. I also have no idea if all the shades are available in Germany. Is there one that someone would recommend for cool-toned fair skin?
I had a patient whose Hourglass Ultraslim lipstick held up to one of the most “productive” cases of food poisoning I’ve ever seen. I’m rethinking my declutter atm.
I tried to be a minimalist while shopping my kackie recs wishlist at Sephora today but I also was lying to myself and ended up with three bronzers one being the gucci bronzer bc I couldn’t help myself 😂
Did you mention buying a Kackie lip liner from Thrive?? (Or I guess you wouldn’t need that right away if you’re just relying on clear gloss for a while.) (For some reason, I seem desperate to prove I’ve paid attention!)
I think your last total full face if you lost everything was over $800 so good job in bringing it down despite the fact that makeup prices are rising so much.
I really really enjoy the structure of this video. Admittedly I watch all your videos, but the structure of this video is highly informative. But also still chaos fun? Anyway. Love it ❤
Is there a random scenario generator, like as if you had three hats, one for different adjectives (e.g. formal, kinky, scary, sweaty), one for various events (e.g. Sip and paint, Movie Premier, Beyoncé Concert, White House Christmas Tour, Goth Convention), one for names of your friends (that your viewers know of), where pulled pulled them out? Or just use hats or bowls. Then you have to choose what makeup you would use on yourself for that event (and maybe do that on camera), while talking about what you would also use for that event on your friend. Maybe that’s too ridiculous.
How about if you can only use 4 products for a full beat face!! Face, brows, lips, eyes, blush, highlight, etc🤩Would help us to look at all of our makeup as Multitaskers! 🙏🏻 ❤
Still not tired of the sail cat.
I intend to test everyone's patience
😂
It makes me smile every time!
Every time another creator mentions it, I expect to see it and laugh. 🤣
As someone who still CZcams’s 20 minute series of vines for nostalgic comfort, I agree 😅
I would love a video that shows your top cool/neutral/warm face of makeup and a clip so we can see all three faces side by side by side. Would be a great color theory video/and top products for varying looks (lol I not a coral girlie but I still love you)

i am completely convinced that kackie talks about that glossier bronzer just to put that meme in her videos 😂😂😂😂
Haha!
Your guilt about picking multiple products was so cute. We all know you are a maximalist and color theory lover, of course your personal collection would have multiples in various categories! I would be concerned if there weren’t multiples lol. I am SHOCKED that you didn’t pick the Kaja orange blossom trio… I thought I knew you Kackie!!!!!
LOVE!! What do we think about doing a video on educating us about how we know what colors work for us?
I appreciate your approach to this very much. There is certainly value in the money conscious and/or post apocalyptic mindset of many of these videos, but I appreciate the realism of yours. I’m literally shook that the Chanel sublimage foundation isn’t in their dude it’s elite

1) The Ana Luisa Sphere earrings are very comfortable for napping in

As a fellow chronic illness human (whose body is wreaking havoc on her today in multiple forms) I thank you tremendously for this information! ❤

Hi, Which color is your Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze ? I an't get the link to work because I'm in France. Thank you
Kackie - what brush did you use when you were demonstrating blush application
It looks like the BK Beauty 105 Large Buffer Brush
Ooooh I might be wrong, it could also be the large powder brush. But i think she used the large buffer for the cream blush
Petition for NARS to give us cool-toned girlies Sin blush in the talc-free formula 🤚
I really really enjoy the structure of this video. Admittedly I watch all your videos, but the structure of this video is highly informative. But also still chaos fun? Anyway. Love it ❤

Nars blush 🙌🏼

Is there a random scenario generator, like as if you had three hats, one for different adjectives (e.g. formal, kinky, scary, sweaty), one for various events (e.g. Sip and paint, Movie Premier, Beyoncé Concert, White House Christmas Tour, Goth Convention), one for names of your friends (that your viewers know of), where pulled pulled them out? Or just use hats or bowls. Then you have to choose what makeup you would use on yourself for that event (and maybe do that on camera), while talking about what you would also use for that event on your friend. Maybe that’s too ridiculous.
Shocked Fleurtatious didn’t make the blush cut!
Hello Jackie, you notice the increase on prices on Sephora? Is insane 😮
"make up agnostic" 😂
The amount of money we spend as makeup lovers is crazy, even buying only drugstore.
How about if you can only use 4 products for a full beat face!! Face, brows, lips, eyes, blush, highlight, etc🤩Would help us to look at all of our makeup as Multitaskers! 🙏🏻 ❤

I thought "break the bank" referred to bank collapse where everyone withdraws all their money all at once.
