I have a large collection of makeup and I start to feel greedy in accumulating so much. I enjoyed makeup way more when I barely had any at all. Those makeup items from the beginning mean more to me than getting all of the latest releases. I get the new ones and use them barely at all then stress about the mess they cause in my desire to be organized. I’m going to do a major declutter now. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy Holidays.

Epic declutter, absolutely inspiring. You mentioned that you’re using Terracycle to recycle them, I would love more info on that! I tend to hold on to things way past their expiration because I feel too lazy to clean them and too guilty to throw them away.
Do you have a credo beauty near you? I recycle my hard-to-recycle products with them and get tons of points for every product I recycle. It’s a win-win! I will say it’s easier to recycle skincare than makeup because makeup is so messy 😕
@@Reggiespaghettismom I don’t know if one by me but I’m definitely going to look for one now! Sephora also has a recycling Dropbox in some stores but the reward points would be just the motivation I need to actually get the items properly clean and ready. Thanks for the tip!

Halp! I just bought the Chanel sublimage le teint foundation and the salesperson put it on me with the sublimage primer underneath. It is THE most gorgeous illuminating finish I have ever encountered (VB primer doesn't hold a candle IMO) AND its almost $300🫠 Kackie--Queen of Identifying Nuances in Formulas, I need you to help me find an alternative🙏🏻Humbly requesting a luxury primer/illuminator comparison in 2024, including Rosy Light Drops and the other Chanel offerings...I will never stop thinking about this shimmer goo! Just got the Westman Atelier foundation stick on a whim. I was tired of fighting patchy looking makeup with bareMinerals. The Westman Atelier cream foundation is magic, hands down, it has cut my makeup time down significantly. What is your take on the blush and contour from this brand?
I really need to be better about labeling my makeup when i buy it or keep a log somewhere so i can declutter when expired. Maybe a small label maker 🤔

@@lisamills6745 I know kackie has very dry skin and has really enjoyed it. I think a hydrating primer wouldnt hurt though if you prefer that finish. It kind of adapts to whatever is under it. I have very oily skin and it works well for me but i have to blot a bit, so i think it shouldnt be too drying :)

For awareness in case anyone's interested, Doll 10 has many more shades than were apparently represented on the website at the time Kackie reviewed. The brand is apparently also sold on QVC and HSN where they have 10 or more shades it seems (depending on current stock availability). About half the shades are for light to medium skin and the other half are for darker complexions. Can't attest to the quality! ;)
