  • Chili Pan Mee is a popular spicy Chinese Malaysian noodle dish. This dry version noodle is made with homemade Chinese's egg noodles and flavored with spicy & crispy roasted chili paste, garlic oil, and top with some savory meat, fried anchovies, and poached egg. To complete the dish, serve the noodle with some anchovy soup with Sweet Leaf. It's also known as Mani Cai or Sayur Manis in Malaysia.

Yummm. thanks for sharing the recipe. I have tried chilli pan mee soup from paparich in Sydney, Australia. Since then I m immediately falling in love with the dish. The one that I tried had soup in the bowl.the broth was soo good. So light yet full of flavour. I am really excited finding your recipe.:) Terima kasih. ❤️

The French, Italians and Chinese use wine for one reason, the essence of taste, not for the alcohol. In the heat, the alcohol evaporates and you can ask any chef, they will make sure the alcohol is evaporated before proceeding. That's why sometimes you see the mega fire in the pan - it's the alcohol burning away. But I do understand the sensitivity of these things in some places. The closest I got to mimicking pork is frying mince Turkey meat in chicken fat oil.
