@Boston Gal It is their job to take reports of threats seriously and conduct a proper investigation. When Charles was shot the second time he was on the ground (Alex standing over him). Had they done a proper investigation and taken the prior threats seriously they could have removed the kids for safety.

Charles was a good man and didn't deserve what happened to him! The police clearly failed to help him and there's not a doubt that she had Alex murder him! I think she may have even murdered Joe Ryan! If not with her own hands then by her hitman brother! And even his death is suspicious to me! I wouldn't put it past him to have killed himself to protect her! Tammy was also failed by the police! The fact that the M.E. never came out to examine her body and then not ordering an autopsy?! And then there's the children!
