What is the height difference on the shifter compared to the OEM?
Hi Dante, The shifter height is the same as OEM.
Will this shifter work on an RB20E transmission?
Yes. Our Skyline short shifters, both the Classic and Premium versions will suit your RB20E trans
Is there one for R34 GTR (6 speed Getrag)?
Hi, Unfortunately, we don't make a short shifter for the 6 speed R34 GTR at the moment
are all r32 r33 and r34 shift levers the same?
We use the same shifter lever for all of our 5 speed R32/33/34 4wd and 2wd short shifters. From experience fitment is excellent for all 5 speed Skylines
I couldn't get the pilot ball into the new into the trans...... like atall. Good 100x they wouldnt to in. Rb25de r34
Hi, Our pivot bush will fit all R32/33/34 5 speed transmissions. It could be that your OEM shifter plate is burred and preventing the CUBE pivot bush from installing. They can often get burred around the slot where the factory circlips locate. This area can be deburred with some wet and dry sandpaper or emery cloth, being careful to not let any debris get into the trans. Regards. CUBE Speed

Just tried installing this on my R32 GTR and it was nearly impossible to get it into first, second, fifth and reverse. I followed the directions to a T and can't understand what the issue is. Put my stock one back in and it works perfectly. Do you think I received the wrong kit?

@@kyddo112 do you have upgraded shift return springs? I found that my transmission had the stiffest spring and the helper spring installed. Put the medium spring in and it works flawlessly. Shifts like a dream now.
My Sr isr short shifter does not work on my rb20det trans
Hi. That would be correct. Any SR/Silvia shifter, although they look similar will not work on any of the Skyline gearboxes including the RB20DET gearbox. Our Skyline short shifters ( both Classic and Premium versions), are designed to work on all R32/33/34 5 speed transmissions, including RB20DET, RB25 and GTR.
